After all of that nonsense, Mayhem Miller went ahead and missed weight by 24 GODDAMN POUNDS for his Venator FC title fight!!!

That obviously nixed the title fight. There were reportedly brief talks about going ahead with a non-title fight between the two, but the promotion instead opted to have have Barnatt face Stefan Croituru for the middleweight title, according to tweets by MMAJunkie reporter John Morgan.

Despite completely blowing the weight for his scheduled fight, Miller will also remain on the fight card, as long as he can make weight at 205 pounds by 7 p.m. local time, and not be more than 207 pounds at 7 a.m. on Saturday, according to Morgan, who is in Italy to do commentary on the fight card. If he meets those weight conditions, Miller will fight Mattia Schiavolin.

Yes, you read that correctly; they signed him even after being arrested no less than 5 times in the last few years for things like domestic violence, vandalizing a church naked, having a standoff with a fucking SWAT team, then a DUI suspicion AFTER signing to fight for Venator, then the guy apparently didn't even attempt to make weight whatsoever (or probably even train), and they KEPT HIM ON THE CARD ANYWAY!!!

JEEEEZUS! That is an insane amount to be over by... so they went ahead and found him a new opponent? Did they get the Champ a new fight?

Yeah I guess they plugged in some other MW on the same card for the title fight and had Miller fight a LHW against someone else.

He was absolutely gassed after 1 round and couldn't even catch his breathe in the corner, and came out and just tried to wrestle-fuck the guy. The only reason he didn't get TKO'd earlier in the round was the ref, who jumped in like he was stopping the fight while Miller was getting pounded, so the other guy backed off, only to have the ref then let it go on. Also, the guy tried to hit him with a Peruvian neck-tie for god knows what reason.





There were actually a few other fights of note on this card.

Matt Hamill got hit so hard and KO'd by an uppercut from Sokodjou early in the first round that he's probably blind now on top of being deaf.




And in news that's actually somewhat relevant, Rousimar Pallharres fought for the first time since being blacklisted for being a total asshole, and was promptly knocked the fuck out right away in the first round by a complete unknown.
