Dana White : Ronda Rousey has earned the right to immediate rematch vs Holly Holm

How about last nights card guys?! And what do you think about this? Should Ronda get the immediate rematch?

I think so, unless someone else could be ready to go first.
Not sure why, but I wouldn't mind seeing a Tate/Holms fight.

I think she deserves it...... BUT...... if holly is ready for more before ufc 200 and ronda is still planning on vanishing till then...... then either make her wait or make take the fight before 200...... the ball is really in hollys court now

im sure dana and the boys will still play favriots with ronda and probably make holly wait till rondas ready

I think Ronda deserves another tittle shot, but why not let Holly take on another fight first.  Ronda can take the time off she wants and then we are not stuck with back to back fights.

I just think rondas going to want 1st crack at holly...... if shes fine with holly defending once before the rematch then good deal...... but that wouldn't be an immediate rematch

she has earned the right to fight holms whenever she wants but i think she should take a bit of time to recover physically and mentally. And to learn how to cut off the ring, how to change angles. That was the main problem
It also really seemed like rhonda didnt take this fight seriously, she was tired and sloppy. That judo attempt at the end of the first round, when she was already exausted, was amateurish.

She should get it whenever she wants it.
If any champ in the history of the UFC deserves an immediate rematch, it's her.

I think Dana has a plan for the rematch, and we all know how much he adores Ronda. So as sad as it is, Holm (aka the champion) isn't going to have much of a say when this fight takes place or whether or not she'll be taking another fight first. That's gonna be entirely up to Ronda and the UFC.

No way the UFC will risk the Rousey Holm remtach by having Holm fight someone in between...

Yeah give her a rematch, she deserves it and just think of the MONEY!

I don't think gsp silva is a super fight the way it was 3 years ago but I think it would be enough of a draw to co-headline an event as big as ufc 200......both men have been out of the game a bit but are still 2 huge names in the sport and would put lots of asses in seats and lots of ppv buys....

Definitely deserves a rematch. If Rhonda changes up her game plan she could take this fight and get her title back.

Yeah, it took me a minute to figure out what it was. But the one with the long line of ..... was the culprit. So I just broke em up a bit.

Well, I guess the cheese stands alone. I get it from a UFC business stand point, get that money while the fight is still hot! But Ronda was completely picked apart and dismantled. Her corner was terrible and Edmund was just a yes man in her ear while she was getting beat. I think it would be wise to change camps, for a multitude of reasons, and take 1 or 2 top 10 fights to build her confidence back up. If they go the immediate rematch route they run the risk of losing Rousey as a fighter completely IMO
If she comes out and it looks the same, she will likely retire and probably go to the WWE.

Like I said, Dana adores Ronda, so if she wants an immediate rematch, she gets an immediate rematvh.

Did you see him putting the belt around Holm's waist after the fight? He looked apalled, like he would rather be doing anything else in the world at that moment.

Well that's two different things. The question was does Ronda deserve an immediate rematch and to that I say yes.

You are answering whether its a smart idea that she takes an immediate rematch and to that I am not so sure so I would tend to agree with you.

yep....agree.....shes done enough and been dominant enough to deserve immediate rematch but what i was trying to get at earlier is that i don't think she has the right to make holly wait for ever to fight again.........if ronda still wants all this time off and holly wants a fight, i have to think the champ has at least a little say in the matter if ronda is going to be on the sidelines for a while recovering and doing movies and what not.......

and i also agree that its maybe not the best idea though......it wasn't a close fight at all and there are for sure things she needs to fix before facing a world class striker again.....

and another thing ive been thinking about sort of off topic but sort of not.....she has for good reason been 1000% ducking cyborg.........after seing what holly did to her i think cyborg has a better than average chance at beating ronda......im pretty confident that ronda and dana and co didn't want to put a real threat in there with ronda and considered cyborg the biggest threat.
