who deserves the next FW title fight against aldo? and why

frankie edgar- he just destroyed the #2 ranked FW in the world and did it in a beautiful display of boxing, wrestling and bjj.

set up lamas vs mcgregor and have that winner fight the winner of edgar/aldo

I'd say Edgar without question. I don't think anyone else should even be in consideration. And Dana won't put McGregor against Lamas. McGregor will fight Siver then maybe one other top 10 fighter who will stand and trade with him. If he wins that, then he gets a title shot. No way Dana puts him against a groundgame ace like Lamas.

Edgar with no argument.
However, would be nice to set up McGregor as a backup if Edgar gets injured.

1,000% agree with you. It might actually be one of those times were people might even get more excited about the fight if mcgregor was to have to step in.

i dont know if i agree with that but i could understand what you are saying. i think that whole divisions top 10 are all well rounded fighters that could take the fight anywhere. obviouslly there are exceptions to the rule like edgar vs cub but in that fight i think conors size power and striking would be enough to keep lamas at a distance and allow conor to work it into a brawl. i personally think lamas has awesome striking and it is superior to his bjj.he sure is fast on the ground tho. it would be an interesting fight for sure. conor has only been finished by tap out in the past
