Sonnen Won’t Find The Same Success In Anderson Silva Rematch, Says Teammate

Longtime training partner to Anderson Silva, Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, tells Brazilian media outlet Tatame.com that Chael Sonnen will not be able to take down Anderson in their pending rematch.

In the original matchup between Sonnen and Silva, Sonnen was able to use his superior wrestling skills to takedown the champion and almost grind out a decision victory. It wasn’t until the fifth and final round that Anderson Silva was able to comeback from near defeat to submit Sonnen and retain the title.

After the match it was revealed that Silva fought with a couple of broken ribs. Could this be the difference? Will a healthy Silva dominate Sonnen

It won't matter either way. Sonnen will forever claim to be the champ regardless of what happens.

Maybe Silva will rip Sonnen's monkey arms off and choke him with them. Then Sonnen can say that he is the best fighter to ever have a contract and no arms. He's so raw he signs it with his teeth.

I'm really curious to see Sonnen fight him steroid free. I hope it's similar to his striking in the Bisping fight. That will be an enterntaining and fun night for Silva

So here's the real question at hand. What will Silva's excuse be this time if Sonnen wreck's him every where the fight takes place, again? Torn vagina? (if the fight even takes place, still no offical word)
I get so tired of the "rib injury" excuse and the doping shit. Also why does everyone seem to forget that Silva was doped up in his fight against Okami, lots of fans of a fella livin in a glass house.

I'm a fan of the guy simply because he's hands down the most dominant champion the UFC has ever seen. Aside from the Sonnen fight he simply toys with opponents until he's bored and ready to finish them. When he's in the mood to fight watching him is like watching a video game...he's unbelievable. So of course I have higher thoughts of him than Sonnen.

Oh, I'm not saying you shouldn't like him. I just tend to read alot of "He's a cheat who uses drugs." or " That cheating roidmokey should never get another shot" (at other sites of course)
But no one really even cared about the fact that Silva was on painkillers while fighting Okami...

You left out one very important point about your rage at Silva for claiming injury;
He won.
Sonnen "wrecked him every where the fight took place" except one place. The place where 'W' and 'L' are listed.
It's not like he got embarrassed and lost the fight emphatically and then used injury as an excuse for the loss. He won, and then said he would have won much easier if he wasn't injured. That's completely different.

You're tired of the rib injury excuse? Well I'm tired of the "Sonnen dominated him for most of the fight!" arguement.

Its a controversial topic that usually has a solid line drawn with two clear sides. Threads on such topics tend to gain more views and more views equals more chance of new members. Of course we could just post a ton of porn too..... Or another Laranja thread.....
