During a 50-block chase, the bikers managed to trap the Range Rover again, and one of them got off and pulled open the driver's side door before the motorist swerved and sped away.
After his tires finally went flat on a side street, the group blocked him in again. One biker was seen yanking off his helmet and using it to smash in the SUV window.
Police said the man suffered black eyes and other injuries in the subsequent beating. After receiving some stitches, he was released from Columbia University Medical Center.
No arrests have been made, but police are examining surveillance video from a nearby gas station where some of the motorcyclists stopped.
Kelly said the bikers did not have a permit for the rally and the NYPD only learned of the show-boating event — in its second year — through social media

Honestly, having a motorcycle does not strike fear into the hearts of the citizens and automatically annoint you the King of the Road, nor does being in a group of other motorcylclists mean you guys have magically transformed into a militia who rule the road with an iron fist. Yeah I've been reading about that on another forum and couldn't agree with you more. I've heard from truckers that a "biker" group boxing a car in and robbing the driver is not an uncommon problem. Shocker: Usually they look for someone who appears to have some extra money and is with their family so they'll think of the kids' safety first. It's obvious that the thuggy "aspiring rapper" idiot who got run over and paralyzed was looking for trouble. Well, he found it. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

You could see the "biker" arguing with the SUV driver, and then attempt to get in front of him to do what? Make him stop? Punk him? I don't know, but he's the one that brought it on himself by verring into the guy's lane and coming to an almost complete stop. Then the rest of the "gang" gets all Street Justice and tries to surround the SUV like this is a fucking Mad Max movie or something. Kind of makes me wonder how gung-ho these hard-asses would've been if SUV guy started going serpentine and flinging bikers over guard rails. I'm guessing the vigilante code-of-the-road mindset would've dissipated pretty quickly.
I get pissed off enough when I see these assholes on a daily basis acting they rule they world, but to see them actually act on it makes me sick.

Yeah I'm pretty sure the guy who initially cut off the Range Rover then slowed down for no reason causing an accident is the one who got run over. He apparently has 2 broken legs, multiple spinal injuries and is likely paralyzed waist down.

Ok so EDIT: Another guy (recently arrested) is the one in the video who slowed down the Range, Jeremiah Mieses aka "Jay Meezee" actually got off his bike and approached it. According to his wife, the lovely and talented Mrs. Meezee, he was "just trying to help". Help who or what, I don't know or care. If I'm Range Rover guy (who hasn't been arrested), I don't take off like a bat out of hell and run over a guy who's "just trying to help" me, but maybe I'm the irrational one here.
