UFC officials took to their official twitter yesterday evening with the announcement.
UFC 148 is expected to go down on July 7 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
Rich Franklin comes back to the middleweight division after not seeing the inside of a cage in over a year. He last fought in February of 2011 in a losing effort to Forrest Griffin. Injuries have plagued the former middleweight champions return. Only one man has stopped Franklin at middleweight and that is current champion, Anderson Silva.
Cung Le will look for his first UFC victory when he steps across from the Cincinnati native that is Rich “Ace” Franklin. Source Should be a damn good fight... but its a tough one to call for me... | |

| This fight interests me, I don't know if I'll ppv it but I will watch it.
I'm a die hard Franklin fan so it is gonna be great watching Franklin go out on a high note beating the crap out of a highly over-rated wanna be movie star failure.

| Franklin back at 185 is where he belongs. He's too small for lightheavy, and that 195 shit was going nowhere. He's gonna work Cung, especially with Le's questionable cardio. | |

| does anyone know why and how cung le has such a sick contract with the ufc?
his last fight he made like 375k.... does his kickboxing record hold that much merritt? and if so how come wonderboy doesnt make money like this? | |
