I should say Ronda got a little heated... because Holm was cool as ice.

Ronda got all hostile and ran up into Holm's face and Holly then put her fist on Ronda's cheek. When Ronda pushed it down and away it made it appear more like a punch, rather than a placed fist... but the still shots sure make it look nice. It definitely wasn't a punch, Ronda just over reacted to being touched.

Yeah Holms' face looks a little too calm for someone throwing a punch. Lol

Sounds like Ronda instigated the situation. Not really sure why. Holms seems to have been rather respectful leading up to this fight.

Yeah I think Rhonda got in her own head waaaaay too much. The whole tough guy image didn't work that well. Holms comments were interesting, respectful and at the end of the day she backed herself up.

im starting to wonder if rondas the type of fighter that needs to have beef or bad blood to get in the right mind set for a fight?........not saying that's the case....just starting to wonder...

and yeah....the whole punch thing was more of a jockeying for arm position and when holly wouldn't let ronda have the upper hand(pun intended) that's when ronda pulled hollys arm in to her face......no punches were thrown

You know, I can somewhat understand the cockiness when you are a contender, as it can sometimes give you the exposure you need to get that title fight a little quicker than normal.

However, once you are the champ it's always in your best interest to be as humble as possible or people just learn to hate your guts.

This of course is assuming that any "drama" we ever see outside the ring isn't orchestrated directly by Dana.

It worked out pretty well for Bisping and McGregor so who knows.

I dont see the whole ronda grabbed holm's arm and punched herself in the face with it thing lol.

It looked to me like Holm always likes having her arm on the outside, ronda intentionally put hers on the outside then when holm tried getting her arm there they started pushing against each other. I dont think either was right or wrong.

That being said I do agree with norcalmatt. She needs to have a beef or dislike the person to fight them. Jon Jones is the same way. Ronda did nothing but say nice thing about Holm the entire lead up to the fight and then when it was the day before she went into "i hate you mode."
