Arlovski/Mir UFC 191

Should be a very interesting fight. Very curious to see if Mir will try to test his boxing skills more and try to stand with the Pitbull.


Who does every one have in this?

I'm actually super excited about this fight. Two old school guys both in the middle of an explosive resurgence. I think this will be an awesome fight!

Yeah this has been years in the making, and even though these sorts of fights (where two guys we would've loved to see fight 10 years ago) sometimes feel diminished, if this one does, it's not by much! Like Grey said, both guys are at the peak of a crazy resurgence, so this feels more Couture/Nogueira than Couture/Coleman.

i think mir takes this one in an all out war. i just hope he doesnt have the same strategy he had against duffee. that was fun to watch but sloppy as hell..

on a side note mir seems punchdrunk in his after fight interviews and post press conference.

Yeah Duffy throws hard punches, but he misses almost as much as he lands. If Mir tries that haymaker battle with Arlovski he's gonna get lit up. Arlovski is probably on par with anybody in the HW division with his punching technique and accuracy.

I got Arlovski by late round TKO/KO after picking Mir apart throughout the fight and turning him into the Elephant Man.

I think i got Mir via 2nd round submission.

i just hope frank doesnt try to put on a show and exchange with aa all night because that would be stupid.

both guys know whats on the line with this fight so you will see them at their absolute best..

I fear the same thing buddy. I know his striking has gotten leagues better but i just dont think it's near what AA has and to stand with him would be very foolish.
