MacDonald not getting next welterweight title shot

MacDonald told UFC Tonight's Ariel Helwani that he was informed by the UFC that he would not be receiving the next crack at the belt despite standing next in line after his win over Tarec Saffiedine in October. That would be a good fight. I think Robbie would beat him this time around but i would still love that fight.

I remember that fight being so odd. Lawler was cutting through people like a buzz saw and Diaz was not well known at all. I remember the announcers talking bout how Diaz was a Gracie Black Belt and he'd have to use his BJJ.
Then Diaz threw a short hook that caught Lawler and he face planted into the mat. Didn't look like much, but just a combination of catching Lawler off guard or hitting him on the button.
