that was paulo thiago... and that was a beautiful short uppercut. paulo filho is the guy who freaked out in the cage against chael at WEC and started talking to himself.. guy was a great fighter and something happened and he lost it.

Yeah, he was the guy who submitted Chael even though Chael never tapped and had completely dominated him for like 12 minutes. Then Paulo goes for an armbar attempt and the ref jumps in to stop the fight as Chael is standing up.

There was a time when people were calling him the best BJJ fighter on the planet.

ii remember that. what a bs call. i remember watching the preview to the fight and chael was talking about how he is going out there to do this for his father who passed away and there was all this emotion and the ref goes and does some stupid shit like that
