Maia drops off and makes way for Luke Rockhold's debut in the top 10.

Ellenberger moves up a couple spots.
Johnson and Kim fall off and make room for BJ Penn and Diego Sanchez

Donald Cerrone falls off and makes way for Jim Miller

Koch jumps a couple of spots.

Glad to see Maia gone, he clearly needs to make some adjustments to get back in the top 10 IMO.
Renan Pegado... could be be the real deal? Not fully sold on him yet, but damn thats a nice lookin record!

One question, if Diaz is suspended I know he will fall off the WW list, but will he also be ineligible for the P4P?

Well, according to how everyone voted...nope! In all seriousness though, JDS has beaten tougher guys than Overeem has. That's the deciding factor in my book.

Yeah, I hate to say it, but I gotta assume that he's universally ineligible.

See the deciding factor for me was, who has shown me more. Who is the more well rounded and who do I think would win between the two. Until he shows it in fight, I can't bring myself to assume that JDS has some sort of ground game, and that means alls he's got is his hands. Thats my 2 cents, which we all know is actually only worth about half a denari...
And damn this marijuana BS, we all know it doesn't enhance his skill or make him not feel pain. Give him 6 months, if not for anything but to make it easier to vote for us!

I gotta say, I disagree with you Chrom. Not with your rankings in general, but with your method.

I think that the basis on which you create your rankings is unreliable. I see a lot of "could" and "would" and "couldn't" and "wouldn't" in your formula. That just seems a little more guessing than it does asessing.

That is only for the #1 spot in HW. If you take just the records Overeem and JDS are pretty comparable. JDS has only one really imprssive win, and thats against Cain. He couldn't even put away a gassed as fuck Carwin. Thats why I had to include those "ifs". No matter which way I look at it I would have to make some sort of assumption. I just chose to go with the Vet, rather than the Rookie Champ who has yet to prove he has more than just his hands. IDK if that makes anymore sense to you guys, but it does to me....

Put simply, their records look fairly equal to me, so I had to have some sort of tie breaker.

Like I said, I don't disagree with your rankings. I just hate to assume is all, but I guess sometimes you have to.
