| Not a terrible night of fights... but far from a great one. The main event saved it. Shields is 2 down in a row now, who is next for him? Will he even be back considering the circumstances? Elenberger has some crazy heavy hands and poses a threat standing to anyone. My question is who is next? I would assume title shot isn't far off... Now the Brookins fight... I feel he was robbed. He dictated where the fight took place and got some good shots in here and there. He got caught a few times when they were separated... but he controlled the cage. We have all seen Randy win with this exact style... IDK at worst I saw a draw but I don't feel he actually lost that fight. Court looked ok out there after such a long lay off. Im looking forward to seeing him fight more. Riddle was pink... and that sums up the night.... | |

| I enjoyed most of the fights, I was really impressed with Lance Benoist! for a kid who is just 22 he was fighting like he's been doing it for 15 years! A lot of talent and lots of time to improve, can't wait to see this kid again!
Ellenberger looked great and I think a matchup with Kos would be a step in the right direction... Hell throw him in there with Alves and I would watch.
I can't really comment on the Brookins fight because I missed most of it. The Court and Yang fight was interesting, Yang seriously looked like a heavyweight in there and I thought he was going to take Court's head off. But Court fought very smart and resisted Yang's urge to slug.

| I was disappointed with Brookins... I wanted more from him.... perhaps just the jitters but I saw more from him in TUF. I still like the guy but I hope he brings more next fight.
Shields ... well Shields is going where I expected the competition has always been tougher in the UFC Mr. Shields is finding this out. However give the guy a chance and a couple more fights before sending him off to Japan.
MacDonald... sigh I love this guy but he just doesnt seem to have it anymore. It hurt to watch him get beat so handily.
Over all ... Im glad I didnt pay for the fights ... I did find myself channel surfing a bit.

| Well, the question with Shields is, how many fights did he have on his contract? This was his 3rd fight with 2 losses in a row and the first was a questionable W. He can't hang with the UFC boys IMO | |

| If his contract is up, he'll get a new one for sure. He actually took a few rounds from St. Pierre, so it's unfair to just look at one quick KO loss on the heels of his father dying as cause to write him off (I'm not saying that's why he lost, but it could have played a part in it). | |

| Ellengerger destroyed Shields it was awesome.
I thought Brookins won too he controlled the clinch, got some takedowns, and got in some good shots.
Belcher has got some serious GnP. The dude really lives up to his nickname.
The Yang-Court fight was weird out of nowhere they went all out.

| Am I the only one that thought Koch won that fight easily.
I admit it was a pretty horrible fight with neither fighter doing to much in 15 minutes, but I thought Koch's win was obvious. I never thought for a second that Brookins was going to win that.

| I disagreed all aound on the decisions last night. I had Brookins beating Koch, and Yang beating McGee. | |

I would say both fighters did not do enough to win a (real) fight. I thought Koch was the dominating fighter in the standup and Brookins could not get a take down. Koch was much quicker with his punches and landed more often (especially with leg kicks that Brookins refused to check). The only thing Brookins did was land a few short shots whilst holding (yawwwwwnnnn) Koch against the fence Randy Couture style.
