Last nights TUF?

Subject: TUF 14 Opener Thu Sep 22, 2011 6:37 am

man, am i ever impressed with (most of) the fights and fighters. i cant believe the standards of these smaller guys. i am actually interested in reengaging the TUF series again. hell, i don't know anything about the last 2-4 seasons because i felt the quality of the fights had deminished so much, but this season seems to have so much potential.

finally a big "wooohooo!!" to TUF.

I couldn't agree more. It looks like Bisping has a lot of pranks lined up this year. I had no idea Bisping hated Koscheck so much but right on cause i cant stand koscheck either. did any one notice that Bisping named one of his donkeys Koscheck. lol!

Cant wait to see Bisping murder miller!!!!!!

Any comments good or bad? May have very well been my favorite episode to date. All guys came to fight and came to fight hard. No drama between Mayhem and Bisping which was good...just a solid focus on the fighters and the fights. Dana was very impressed too.

I didn't watch it since I gave up on TUF awhile ago, does this season look any different/better to the point where maybe I should catch a replay ?

There were so many good fights... it was neat to see Dana so excited he is like a kid in a candy store. Mayhem and The Count looked very civilised and commenting professionally on the fights.

You just know that the guys who lost but put on a good show made to Dana's "lets look at this kid" list.

Yea, I was wicked impressed at the fights and the fighters themselves. Everyone looked to be in great shape and for the most part, all the fights were good. Even some of the guys that lost would deserve a shot.

Billy, watch it. You'll be impressed this time around.

Everyone in the cage had killer instinct...everyone. I gotta say though...I'm not a Bisping hater...nor am I a fan...but I'm pulling for him this time around. I hope he destroys Miller...I've never once been impressed with Mayhem.

Finally watched it last night on my DVR.
Great fights. 16 fights, and only 3 went to decision.
The only HORRIBLE fight was the LnP guy.

Wow... did mini Cole Miller shit the bed.
So arrogant... such high expectations, and he did nothing except get beat up.

Amazing fights! Loved every second of this episode... best part? Trimming down those boring LnP fights and just doing a recap. Awesome fighters and I was shocked that there were only 2 or 3 decisions out of all the fights. Really looking forward to this season more so than any other... I've never missed an episode since season 3 and there have been some real shitty seasons (4 and 7 come to mind) but this season looks awesome!

Was really impressed with the fights, they all wanted to impress.

Thinking about it, we could end up with some top fighters from this show. Its like the 1st ever TUF for these weight classes, they've not had the chance before. We all know how many good fighters came out of the 1st 3 TUF seasons, but after that most of the best guys had already been on it so the talent got weaker.

hahaha I actually like Bisping and was rooting for him to win that season when I watched it. I really did enjoy the 3rd season, especially to see Ken Shamrock in such a terrible light and horrible coaching.

Exactly right. They have the best 135 and 145 guys not already signed to the UFC right now, this season will kick ass
