Dana explains why Arlovski's back in the UFC, but Tim Sylvia isn't.

UFC President Dana White said no way, but the boss has good reason.

“Tim Sylvia, I think he’s 0-3-1 in his last four fights. It’d be tough to bring him in to the UFC with [that record] outside the UFC. [Arlovski's] on a win streak. I like him. I have a lot of respect for him and his people.

“[Tim] left the UFC to go fight somewhere else. People think that because he did that, I have some – I never, ever fault somebody for trying to better their life, and he had a better deal. This ain’t fucking Bellator. A guy tries to better his life, we’re not going to try to destroy the guy and sue him to death and hold up his career and do that.”

Why was Arlovski picked to come back and not Timmeh?


The reality of the situation is he is 0-4 in his last four outings...

Yeah it's cute that he started a Facebook petition, but maybe he should focus on actually winning some fights. That would probably help his chances a little more.

Total joke that the fight got NC'd for those kicks since they barely grazed timmeh, but wtf was AA doing anyways? lol

Well to be fair the rules were odd. Soccer kicks were allowed but only if the ref gives the nod...

That's the most retarded thing I have ever heard. And then they NC'd the fight for those little slap kicks he threw and pretty much missed???

Yeah it was really screwed up rules. You could throw soccer kicks, but you needed confirmation from the ref like Chrom said. I'm not really sure how that would work. So if you starch your opponent and he goes down, you gotta wait til the ref takes a good hard look at the guy and then says "Oh yeah, he's ripe for it! Go ahead and kick this fucker in the face, buddy!!"
What makes the ref decide if you can or can't? Like if he's already too KO'd, then you can't? But if he's got some life left in him, then it's like "I'll allow it!" lol
