| That doesn't sound good. Isn't that what put Belcher out for over a year? | |

It sure was buddy. I dont think bispings is as bad though. through a uk newspaper they said they talked to some of bispings coaches and he is looking to be back in 6-8 months. Still a huge downer. if bisping would have beaten munoz he would be right back in the title picture. now he will probably have to string a few wins together to get back in that same position. But never count out the count.

| Side note here. does any one think munoz has any decent chance at beating the dragon? Personally i see this being a very one sided beat down and i think munoz will get knocked out by the 2nd at the latest. but thats just my 2 cents. | |

| I think Machida will get tired fast due to the weight cut and grappling, he's got one hell of a tough fight for his first attempt at 185. I'm thinking Machida loses and gets the axe... then Bellator can have another new and credible champ... at 205 of course. | |

| I'm with gecko; Machida is gonna work Munoz. Machida's TDD is very good, and Munoz will have a hard time chasing him around the cage.
Machida by 3rd round TKO.

| I think Machida is an absolute nightmare matchup for Munoz. I see an easy win for Machida as well. I like Munoz a lot, but I can't think of a worse opponent for him. | |

| Yeah, I don't see Munoz taking down Machida easily, and think Machida will get up easily if takend down. It's not like Munoz is going to outpoint Machida on the feet. I see Machida easily outpointing Munoz on the feet and possibly getting the KO if Munoz panicks and tries to rush in. | |

| I think that weight cut is gonna be the deciding factor. If Machida can come in and look the same in the cage at 185 as he does at 205 then Munoz may be in trouble. But I have a feeling that cut is gonna take a lot out of Machida. | |

| I don't think so. It's not like Machida was overly lean at 205. He could probably make 195-200 right now by just shedding water weight. With a full camp to diet correctly I would bet he makes it relatively easy. And besides, Anderson seems to make 185 pretty easily, and Machida is not much bigger than him (if at all). | |

| i dont think machida should have problems cutting weight. doesnt he walk around at just about 205lbs? it was his philosophy to not cut weight and fight at his natural.he was relying purely on his skill to win and did so most of the time. i wish that he had put on some muscle though, that way he would have been a long time champion at 205. the only problem i see with this is that it is his first serious cut and his body and mind are not use to it. that might play a role in munoz favor.

| What's his weight in that pic? Looks like he still has a gut. He should have no problem with the cut. It's only like 16-17 pounds from what he normally weighs in at. I could do that in one week and am only at 170 right now. | |

| Yeah I don't think he's even actually weighed in at 205 in years. He's been like 203, 204 for most of his fights lately, so he's clearly not cutting much weight at all at LHW. I don't know what he weighed in that picture, but it looks to be during training, and not in the serious weight cut timeframe leading into a fight (usually the last week or few days before a fight). If a casual observer who didn't know them was looking at those two side by side like that, I'm betting they would assume they fought in the same weight class. | |
