| So I just heard a pretty cool theory about Alexandria, and specifically Enid (the girl that Carl met and saw sneaking out into the woods).
The woman in charge (I forget her name) told Rick she had exiled 3 people at some point. When Enid climbed over the wall, she had a backpack on. It wouldn't be surprising if the exiled people were camped out nearby, and she was smuggling supplies out to them. And could one of the exiled possibly be Negan? I actually think that woman who cut Rick's hair's husband (the guy on the porch smoking when Rick was out walking at night) might be Negan. He seems like some level of bad news, one way or another.

| Sooooooo........Rick has become Shane, it seems? lol
But seriously, shit's obviously about to hit the fan! That lady in charge clearly is gonna want Rick gone, and something tells me he's not just gonna up and leave without a fight. Add in the fact that there's clearly another group nearby (hence the campfire and carnage that Darryl and Aaron discovered and the increasing presence of the W walkers), and I'm expecting some serious fireworks coming in the finale. I'm betting that just as things are about to come to a head inside Alexandria, that new group is gonna come knocking, and it's gonna be a 3-way war for control of Alexandria between Rick's group, the natives of Alexandria, and the new group.

I think Rick put it best at Terminus "They have no idea who they are screwing with"

| Exactly! So either Rick's group takes Alexandria during a seige by this new group, or Rick's group takes Alexandria and then this new group shows up to try and take Alexandria from them.
Either way, Rick's group is not leaving Alexandria, and either way, this new group is going to be the enemy at the beginning of next season.
I'm just hoping Morgan shows up before all is said and done this season. Showing up out of nowhere just in time to save Rick's ass when it looks like the end would be sick!!

| I couldnt agree more. We need Morgan to take on a more serious role in this season. I got really happy when i saw him at the end of one of the early episodes from this season but i was hoping for a lot more. He was pretty bad ass in the comics. | |

| Speaking of the comics, I finally bought Compenium One!!! I haven't started reading it yet though, as I have another book I gotta finish first. But I couldn't resist leafing through a few pages. I only got as far as Rick finding the horse and leaving Morgan's for Altanta, but I should be ready to pick back up on it again this weekend. | |

| So how did everyone like the finale? I just realized today that we hadn't discussed it. Someone sent me an April Fool's Day link to an article saying that Robert Pattinson from Twilight has been cast as Negan in season 6. So after I about smashed my phone and swore off the show for the rest of time and then realized it was a joke, I thought to myself "Oh yeah! So anyway, let's discuss!" lol
I thought this was one of the better finales of the entire show. From the start- when we finally get to see Morgan with some substantial screen time and see him go straight up ninja on some Wolf fools- right up until the end- when Rick went full-blown Staff Sergeant Barnes with his "I am reality!" moment when he lugged in a dead walker and dropped it right at everybody's prissy little feet before blowing Pete's head off. And even though deep down I should've known better, I honest to god thought Darryl was a goner! I know he's too important of a character to just get devoured by a horde of walkers, but it just felt like the show runners were about to hit us with a classic gut-wrenching loss to give the finale a little more substance. I really liked how they had all of the characters from Rick's group talk about Rick and the shit he's been through. It really drove home the point of "Yeah, we've all seen some shit, but none of us can hold a candle to Rick Motherfuckin Grimes!!" I'm glad to see Morgan back with the group, especially now that he's clearly a total bad-ass. But I think there's gonna be some serious tension between him and Rick. The first time he sees Rick after all this time, Rick's basically executing a guy for pretty much just being a bad person, and Morgan has this newfound "All life is precious" philosophy, so there's gonna clearly be some philosophical dissagreements there.

| great episode.....I had a feeling that when Darryl was in the car that was going to be morgans big entrance... yes we saw him whoop a couple wolves but as we all know, that could easily have ben all the morgan we got. I think that morgan, rather than there being tension will help bring rick back to sanity so to speak....sort of the way rick did for him in season 2(I think it was 2)......
how about that trap the wolves have....and brutal how they make the "W" walkers....carve the w then kill the person and let them change......
I honestly had mixed emotions on how they left it though...I feel like they could have tied up a couple more loose ends. I want to know about carls girl and why she sneaks out and also wanted to see the dumb ass that glen deals with get his....weather it be reprimand from the Alexandrians or glen just killing him...but all that being said.....next season should be action packed.
lastly....it had to be misdirection but a few weeks back in an interview with norman reedus, when asked what to expect in the finale, he said bring tissue......what the hell was that supposed to mean??? nothing happened that would disappoint or bum out and viewers...

| So just to update, I wanted to thank you guys for reccomending the comics. They are surprisingly good! I consider myself a bit of a book snob and admittedly kind of scoffed at the idea of reading a "graphic novel" at first because I didn't think it would be compelling enough, but I've actually really enjoyed it so far! I just started reading Compendium 2, and what's left of the group has reconveined at the farm after the prison attack. I know some of you guys have said that the show barely follows the comics at all, but I don't know, it seems to do so to me. Some things were added into the show that don't exist in the comics, but a lot of it is still pretty similar with just a few minor tweaks (Tyrese and Herschel's fates, for instance). With that said, reading the comics almost feels like following the story of completely different people than in the show. Most of the characters are the same, but they just have different personalities than their characters on the show. Rick, for instance. In the comics he just seems much rougher. Rick from the show almost seems kind of Southern gentile, while Rick from the comics almost comes off as like a dirty white country boy. lol And yes, Michonne and Andrea are both much more likeable in the comics than on the show. Michonne is basicly clinically insane, as demonstrated by what she did to the Governor. Holy shit!! Even though he is 10 times the despicable piece of shit in the comics than he is on the show, I almost felt bad for him after what she did to him!! I can't wait until I'm ahead of where they are on the show so I can have some of those "Ohhhhhhh shit......I think I know where this is going!!!" moments. LOL | |

| Haha good shit buddy! Â It wil be good having you up to speed instead of having to dance around stuff.
I still think the stray pretty far from the book. Â I mean dont get me wrong they pretty much follow along the same timeline and go to the same areas, but there is definitely enough different that I am still surprised each week on the show.
Like in the book Carol is a weirdo lesbian who gets killed pretty early and her daughter is still alive lol.

| Yeah, and Andrea still being alive in Alexandria is kind of weird. But I like that the general timeline is still followed, and that most of the big events are very similar. I'm actually almost exactly to the point right now where last season ended. Rick just freaked out and put Pete through a window, pulled a gun on everyone, got bonked out by Michonne, then met with what's his name (the guy in charge, who's a woman on the show) to talk about his fate in the community. The big difference right now is that Glen and Heath from Alexandria were on a run in the city and attracted the attention of some seemingly bad people, which Im guessing is going to end up being a rather large storm of the shit variety! lol | |

| Yeah, I remember you mentioning awhile back that Rick shooting Pete actually was a very significant event (or rather, the noise of the gunshot was significant), and I can see how that's definitely the case! I hope they follow the comic storyline for that in the show, because shit is indeed hitting the fan right now in a very big way! I thought for a few pages there that Negan had arrived, but nope. Still, there seems to be an equally large problem on the way to Alexandria right now! lol | |

Who's watching? Kind of a slow episode, but I still enjoyed it and like the cliffhanger of the largest fucking horde we've ever seen heading straight for Alexandria. That should go over well.
LOL!! | |

I finished the 2nd compendium and that took me to a point of what seems like is going to happen within a few episodes of this season (or the end of this season if they stretch it out). I don't want to say exactly what's going on and accidentally spoil it for anyone not reading the novels. I looked for a 3rd compendium, but it doesn't look there's one out yet. I saw some of the individual volumes and meant to pick up a few but just haven't gotten around to it. But yeah, I'm enjoying reading the series, and definitely plan to keep on doing so!

| I would say a 3rd compendium would be coming out soon, because they do them every 45 issues or so. And they just passed that point. | |
