If he does that really sucks, I have been a long time fan of his. I know Reep is going nuts over this news. Hopefully he will still have a home in the ufc doing some thing else if this does happen.

I think he will have a place as a commentator for sure in Strikeforce or wherever;
not sure if there would be room for him between Goldie and Rogan though.

Kenny is a great commentator, but I would prefer he keep fighting if possible.

Kenny will definitely still have some kind of commentating gig. He's kinda vanilla but he knows his stuff and he's a recignizable face.

He is a killer after show guy IMO, far better than a live commentator.

I've always been a fan of Kenny...and I stick to the statement that I think he's by far the most improved fighter to ever come from any season of TUF.

Well that's sucky for him but he's not going anywhere. Dana loves him and he's always stepped up. He'll always have a job with Zuffa somewhere.

That sucks hopefully he'll get better ,but at least he'll have a job as a commentator.

ummmmm nothing mentioned anywhere about surgery, isnt that an option for slipped disc?
from the article it sounds like the docs are just saying retire, and he's just saying he's going to rest and try to heal......really though isnt surgery an option?

They all made it back but you have to ask with what success? But you sure have to admire a guys dedication when he's willing to do this to keep fighting.
