| What's up with the stupid Cormier/Bader crap? Did anyone else find that really lame and forced?? I'm not gonna get on board with a Cormier/Bader bad-blood rivalry pitch. Sorry, not interested. | |

| its clear that the ufc makes these guys try to spark an interest in these fights but they all do a horrible job at this. you could see that cormier is starting to change his image by going from the olympic, family man who had a hard path and fought for everything holy to this i dont give a fuck attitude wanna be badboy.
the ufc wants 600 connor mcgregors on its roster but they are far from that. all of their champions with the exception of rousey are lack luster to the general public. they have no gimmick or appeal that sparks interest. cain, cormier, weidman, lawler, dos anjos, aldo, dillashaw are all great fighters but they do not fill the seats or get the casual fan amped up for a fight. the ufc in my opinion is in trouble and after coming off of a terrible year in 2014 I personally think 2015 will be worse. i feel they are desperately trying to build rivalries that will get people excited about the upcoming fights ( as promotors do ) but the way they are doing it doesnt really work great for them.

How do you think they should build or promote the rivalries?

| ^^^ Don't force or encourage rivalries in the first place! I can only speak for myself, but given the choice between having to try and swallow an obviously staged rivalry or seeing no rivalry at all, I'll always choose no rivalry. It's almost insulting IMO that Dana and Co feel that the fans need a rivalry- fabricated or otherwise- to be interested in a fight. | |

| Well i think one problem they have right now is that the LHW division sucks. Ryan Bader is the ONLY guy in the division who deserves a shot and that's just pathetic. They tried promoting it...Aaand it flopped lol. | |
