DEP how many punches should Randy have taken before he took it to the ground? How many could he have taken? None.

He was in the ring with a man who has the potential to kill him with a punch, I think he did the right thing, the smart thing and the ... yes disappointing thing.

I too would have liked to see a little more of a beating laid on Toney but I really don't think Randy could have taken ANY hits to the head. Maybe he could have let him up a couple of times but too much was at stake including Randy's life.

I can think of no circumstances where I would call Randy Couture a pussy.

IMO He proved nothing that the entire world already didn't know, James Toney isn't a wrestler.... Thats no victory to write home to Mom about. You took a guy who was 0-0 to the mat in 15 seconds.... wheres the sport in that.....

I watch the .gif and I wonder why he's so happy and why he's celebrating. Ok he won, I get it, but that's the kind of victory that ranks with the victory you get when you fight your front lawn with a pull start Toro with a bent wheel. If Toney KO'd him in 15 seconds I'd probably think: "Well.... I guess."

What it proves is that Randy- with his much broader arsenal of skills- is a vastly superior fighter to James Toney.

I understand that you guys wanted to see Couture try and box with Toney, but he didn't have to, because he has a lot more options than Toney does in a fight. That would be like me having a hornet's nest in my back yard, and instead of using the can of Raid I bought yesterday to kill them, I decide to go out there with a slingshot and shoot em out of the air one by one.

James Toney got exactly what he deserved. He was arrogant enough to think he could walk in there and fuck up anybody and everybody because of his boxing background, and Randy embarrassed him and made him look stupid.

Well call it what you will, Toney had the balls to walk into Couture's world and conduct some business. He did indeed look pretty stupid, I will admit. He was way too fat and he actually tipped over lol. Therefore, it seems that the only way for Toney to redeem himself is to square off with Couture in a boxing ring.

That's all hindsight, don't misrepresent what happened. Toney ran his mouth, then he actually went in there to back it up. He lost, and he gave Handy props in the post fight interview. He's not running his mouth from 3 states away and then turning down offers to fight, leave that to Mayweather.
