| and it seems that there is a buzz that shlememnko threw the fight. certainly would explain the ease with which tito took him down and got that choke, but i true, it would severely damage shlemenko's image in my eyes. and move bellator that much closer to wwe. | |

| The tiny Russian called Tito out... then got choked unconscious... sounds like just deserts to me. | |

| There were rumblings right when the fight was mentioned that this might be a big set up to try and gain Tito some form of relevancy, and that included the call out by Shlemenko. I can't say I'd be shocked if it was true. Bellator needs Tito to be at least somewhat relevant, and he hasn't been that in a long time. Not to mention Bellator employs part time pro wrestlers, so a fix wouldn't be that hard to imagine! LOL!
Either way, Tito has no business bragging about beating up on a small MW. I wouldn't and didn't pay a dime for that card, so I didn't see the fight, but I can imagine just how over the top theatrical and self-complimenting Tito was afterwards. Glad I didn't have to attempt to stomach that....

| He was actually not that bad after the fight. He was very complementary of Shlemenko and the only negative talk was to the UFC for trying to erase him from the UFC records. | |

| One more thing... when you're a 6-1 underdog, and you destroy the guy in the first round... you get some bragging rights. | |

| how was he complementary of shlemenko? saying that he doesn't punch that hard? and these ridiculous odds make me believe that the whole thing was a set up even more. plus, to think of it, when i first saw the video of shlemenko calling out tito, i have the feeling as if im watching fedor acting like rampage. very unnatural. and that takedown and choke.. if it wasnt a set up, the russian needs to work on his ground skills, a lot. i wouldnt let tito get that on me. | |

| Thought the Jackson UD was bullshit. However, the fight overall was pretty shitty and non-entertaining so it's not like I feel bad for lawall. Looks like the sherdog judges agreed (unanimous for lawall).
I had the Chandler fight a draw (3 rounds for Chandler and a 10-8 round for Brooks). I feel good about the decision since that 3rd round was so lopsided for Brooks (arm pinned and landed punch after punch unanswered for 15 seconds until he was saved by the bell), and could have easily been stopped or would have been stopped in another 10 seconds. 3 of the 5 rounds were really very close.
Kongo destroys a tomato can.... no surprise there.
I really like the two Russian heavyweights Bellator has. I wouldn't mind the UFC signing them to bring some excitement to the HW division. Volkov and Minakov are both fairly tallented.

He actually said something more along the lines of "Well, I've been hit harder" which is an obvious and honest statement. He also said that he is a true warrior and a great champ, hence the reason why Tito/Punishment Athletics had chosen to sponsor him when he was coming up in the ranks.

WHAT?!?! How in the fuck was he a 6-1 underdog?!? Those might be the most ridiculous odds I've ever heard! The guy a fucking MW for Christ's sake!! That really doesn't make me feel any differently about how the fight should've and did play out.

| He's a middle weight title holder on a 13 fight win streak... Against a 40 year old who hadn't won a fight since July 2011. | |

Against a 40 year old who hadn't won a fight since July 2011. Well look, I may have strong views and opinions on some MMA topics, but I'm always honest, and you gotta believe me when I tell you that as soon as this fight was announced, I said "This is a cakewalk for Tito". I'm sure Shlemenko has had a wonderful time kicking ass in Bellator's world renowned MW division, but he was a smallish MW fighting a big, strong LHW with powerful wrestling. I don't think I'm some kind of genius who knew something no one else knew. I just think those were absolutely horrendous odds.

| Tito is a fighter past his prime, on the down hill side of his career with a body (neck) that is getting older that he is... FAST. Shlemenko might not be a UFC grade fighter but he does have some degree of legitimacy so too did the fight.
Tito is an entertainer and a draw more for his entertainment value than his killer skill set. He did what he was paid to do. fight a legitimate fight, put together a legitimate win and entertained the crowd. That will get him another fight, more money and feed the fans.
Good on ya Tito | |

Before the fight Tito was at +215 (still a pretty good underdog). I had thought Tito should win given his size, but I stayed away looking at the fact that he was winless 8 of his last 9 fights and hadn't won in 3 years.

| Yeah I can sort of see how one would balance out the other, but I just looked at it like yeah; Tito had lost 8 of 9, but this was a Bellator MW, not Liddell, Machida, Forrest Griffin, Rashad, or Li'l Nog.
And just to be clear, I'm not shitting on Tito. Shlemenko called him out, and Tito went in there and put him down. Good for him. I'm just saying, let's not pretend like Tito just did something impressive.
