Surprised that no one has mentioned this fight yet. Diaz dominated the Bully everywhere in the ring and finally beat him senseless with combinations from hell. Maynard was beaten so fully and completely I believe the specter of retirement has to be haunting the Bully's long term planning. One win in the last five fights with his brain rocked in most of those fights doesn't bode well for long term career planning.

Yeah, I haven't really seen a one-sided domination of a fighter like that since Anthony Johnson vs Tommy Spears.
I don't know what's next for Maynard. Honestly, I don't care.

The beating was soooooo definitive that one wonders the effect not just on his body but his "fighters soul" as well. That's a rough way to end your career, broken body broken heart.

Yeah Leben looked and sounded done. Not very good advertising for his gym.
