Yeah they usually take the approach of giving the TUF winner a couple of fringe cans or mid-tier fighters to build them up a little before putting them in there with any remotely dangerous veterans. That doesn't seem to be the case here.
Looks like they are gonna go that route with Uriah hall, though. He's getting Nick Ring for his first post-TUF fight.

Not really that surprising. Hall is clearly much more marketable than Kelvin, and people will pay to see him fight.
Kelvin Gastellum? Eh, not so much. I hope he gets the W here and keeps on winning, because it seems like the UFC isn't all that attached to him, so he's probably gonna have to win consistently right away to stick around.
