Werdum Believes That A Win Over Big Nog Earns Him A UFC Title Shot

Well i think it would be even crazier not to have his name mention in the mix if he does beat big nog. Will he be able to take the title....my gut says no. I dont see werdum getting past jds,overeem or cain for that matter.

But a win over Big Nog doesn't = immediate title shot... at least not for the past 2 years it hasn't...

oh no doubt there. there are guys more worthy at this moment and are a much bigger threat to the title than werdum. I was more or less just saying that his name should be in the mix if he beats nog but definlty not an immediate one either.

Well now Zuffa might just as well fire Dana, Silva, one of the brothers, most of the front office staff and just let Frabicio run the show..... or FW can just shut the helll up and take the fights put in front of ya!

I'm starting to hate the way it seems every middle of the pack fighter wants an immediate shot based on his or his managers perception of where they think they are on the ladder. Just STFU and take the fights given to you. What ever happened to "I'll fight anyone they put in front of me"?

It's a fighter's job to fight, not declare themself the #1contender. I know people will say "But you have to promote yourself!".
No, you don't. It's annoying. Stop it.
Other people get paid to promote you, you get paid to fight. I want to see a fighter fight, not explain to me why he thinks he should be fighting for the title.

Has he learned how to defend the lead uppercut from hell throw from the toes yet? If not it will be the same result against JDS again.
