Yeah that biting was beyond a bitch move. thats the kind of crap that will gauarentee you to never fight in the ufc.

Wont waste my breath on julian and i wish our boy colt wouldnt waste any energy on him either. let him throw a punch at some one and we will never have to hear from him again.

I have to admit the coaches challenge was geared to already favor carwin big time. running and jumping alone had carwin written all over it and dana knew it and probably did that on purpose. we all know how dana feels about nelson. plus this coaches challenge seems a little out of the norm seeing we have had tenis, basketball, air hockey, ping pong, shooting pool ect as the coaches challenge and now we switched to a triathlon.

Does any one else see this? I kind of dont blame nelson on this cause i think he knew too that dana was going to make sure he didnt win.

Yeah I agree on the coach's challenge, I'm sure Dana did it on purpose. Heck Dana himself even said and chuckled that he couldn't wait to watch the 400 meter relay.

But honestly that's what big country gets. He's made it VERY clear that his way of winning is to coast on by until it really matters and then step it up at the end. So fine...you want to teach your guys to coast through life until you HAVE to work hard then here's what happens when life throws you a curve ball and your "coasting" efforts are put to the challenge.

Guess what...you just lost $20k because you're a coaster not a worker.

I was ok with the coaches challenge... I would have just did it a bit differently.
I would have made those out of shape gassers run a 5K, and gave the winner of each event a 20 second head start.

If you have a heart attack you automatically lose.

If I were dana mr. bite-like-a-bitch would be sent home. Julian would be gone too. He's trying to be Chris Leben...... except Leben was actually a good fighter. Julian (imo) is the worst fighter in the house and now he has free reign to just be a douchbag the rest of the season.

I was reading one of the fighters' blogs and they were saying that they actually truly believed Roy was going to win the challenge, because he was saying he's a really good runner and he has done well in the discus event in the past. I don't know, maybe he was just blowing smoke up his own ass, but his team definitely was convinced that he had a legitimate shot at winning.
I can say one thing, though. As a former track and field athlete, I can say with absolute certainty that the 400m run is one of the most brutal events in the sport.....when done correctly, that is. You're basicly supposed to sprint at around 90% top speed for the entire race. That's a killer. The only event that's more sadistic is the 400m hurdles; same race, just with 10 hurdles spaced throughout the track. That was my race in high school, and I have no idea why I chose to do that....

I retract any previous statements I may or may not have made concerning pink-mohawk-man-child.

The biter had shitty stand up, but I thought that once it hit the ground he would take it easy... wrong. Good fight and the only thing the crazy biter has going for him at this point is honesty. But I'm sure we won't see him again.

The coaches challenge was clearly aimed to make Roy look silly on TV. But none of that matters because like he said, Shane can beat him up and down all day in bumper cars or what ever. But he won't win an MMA fight against Nelson.

I give Carwin a punchers chance and thats it.

I thought Secor won. Terrible decision and i still dont really get how he lost the overtime round.

Julian is an asshole and dana should remove him from the show.

Biting is a bitch move.

I agree i think nelson takes this fight too. nelson has the better ground game. both have ko power. I think Roys got the better chin too.

Yeah, and considering JDS couldn't drop Nelson (even after dropping tons of bombs on his face), I don't see Carwin having a similar first round as against Lesnar either.
Plus, Carwin looks super small compared to when he was knocking everyone out in the UFC. He almost looks like a guy whose either off the roids or has decided to go 100% vegan.

Yeah, but remember; JDS couldn't drop Shane, either.

Does this mean we're in for a slugfest in rd. 1, followed by a disgustingly slow and sloppy next two rounds of leaning on each other and waiting for the bell?

Nope, if it goes to a second round Roy will have no problem finishing Shane on the ground.

I don't know. I think Carwin's only shot is an early first round KO. If it goes past 4 minutes, I see everything in Roy's favor. He may be a fat pos, but he actually has great cardio. If the coaches challenge would have been a 1.5 or 2 mile run, Roy would have killed him.

I don't know about that. Did you see the Mir/Nelson fight? Mir looked tired, but Roy looked like he was about to die.
I think Roy has good cardio when you consider how out of shape he looks, but his cardio is questionable at best when compared to fighters with legitimately good cardio.

My boy colt is in the final 4!!!!! cheers and mad props to him for not getting pulled into igors stupid little drama queen bit. i love how colt was telling him it's better for you in the cage cause there are rules and you might have a chance there at least. Igor was ot classed in every way in that fight. even dana said igor had little to no chance against colts ground game.

Yeah, Igor single-handedly turned my heel of the show into my favorite. Just by putting Colt into that situation. Then Colt played it out perfectly. Also I thought it was awesome how Shane got butt hurt about Nelson laughing at Igor. It was a hilarious situation, what else would you do. It's not like Colt was going nuts and taking after Igor. Handle your man Team Carwin!

Yeah, I thought Colt handled it great as well. Why would Nelson care if that idiot through a punch or something and got kicked off the show?

The only thing Colt needs to work on is actually finishing a fight. He totally outgrappled Igor, but it never looked like he was going for a finish... only control and some short elbows.

That being said, Colt looks really small for that weight class and suspect he would drop to a smaller weight class in the UFC. Might be easier to finish guys that are his size?

I dunno man, I agree with Carwin getting upset that Nelson is treating this whole season as a joke. These are people lively-hoods we're talking about, it maybe a laughing fun game to Nelson, but not to his guys, this is potentially make it or break it time and for him to be a lazy jokester that just laughs at shit like this is just one more reason he drops down a notch in my book.

It's clear to me that Carwin is taking this seriously and Roy isn't.

Oh... I totally agree Roy is being a complete uncaring jackass in general.
It's just over crap like Igor. These guys are all adults and they should not need a babysitter to act like an adult.
If a guy wants to go grazy and throw a punch (likely blocked) and get kicked out of the fighting game, then so be it. Especially when it's not a guy on his team.

Yeah, I think if it were the other way around Nelson likely wouldn't have been just sitting there laughing. He would have tried to stop it. But as Stock said, it's not his job to babysit. Especially for the other team.

Now, on to the Carwin injury. I think I recall Roy saying something about Carwin not fighting because he would likely get "injured"... am I just imagining that or did Roy actually call it?

Thoughts on last nights episode? I think every week we say we've seen the most boring fight in TUF history...then there's one to up the ante. The Rivera/Manley fight was freaking HORRID. At first when Joey was put against he cage and John was trying for that takedown I was actually impressed with how well Joey was listening to his corner, but then it's like his mind went blank and he didn't feel like fighting. And Manley was too afraid to strike with him, so all he did was press him and take him down. Wow, most of these guys are going to FLOUNDER in the UFC.

Having said that I was very impressed with Ricci...if full on dominated Hill. I figured it would go as such, but man Hill had absolutely nothing to offer. Ricci looked pretty good with those John Jones style elbows too.
