Lesnar, a former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight Champion, has already called it quits on his mixed martial arts (MMA) career and headed back to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) to resume his role as a (part-time) professional wrestler.

Could Mir, also a former champ inside the Octagon, be far behind?

He's "not opposed to the idea," according to his conversation with Reuben Villagracia of The Chronicle Journal, though he'd probably take a career in MMA broadcasting as his first choice after hanging up the gloves for good.

Mir breaks down his retirement options after the jump.

"I like analyzing fights and I like doing color commentating," Mir said. "It’s an opportunity I would take advantage of when I run into it. Hopefully it’s something I can do full time."

A possible foray into professional wrestling isn’t out of the question either. "Not opposed to the idea," Mir said. "I can’t do a back flip or anything."

Mir was unsuccessful in his bid to reclaim the 265-pound crown from Junior dos Santos at the UFC 146 pay-per-view (PPV) event last month at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, and probably won't see another title shot for the foreseeable future.

If he has a match against Lesnar, I bet a real fight breaks out.

There is no way in hell these to can choreograph or work a good solid wrestling match together.
It would break out in a real fist fight.
