So seeing i kind of brought this whole subject about, i am kind of wondering if Chael was to get injured and Silva is ready to defend, who would get the title shot?

Munoz-Injured maybe could make it in time

Stann- coming off a loss

Bisping- coming off a loss

Belfort- tied up with TUF Brazil

Wandi-Tied up with TUF Brazil

Leben- suspended and coming off a loss

Maia- coming off a loss

Weidman- way to early to be looked at as a contender

So who would they go to if chael really did get hurt? i would have to say Bisping,Munoz or Stann is probably there best bet at that point. seeing none have had a title shot. Seeing he hasnt lost in a bit i would have to give the nod to Munoz if he could be healthy but if not than Stann or Bisping.Any thoughts on that?

I wouls say Bisping.

It would be similar to the situation of GSP vs BJ 1, when they were fighting for the chance to fight Hughes for the title. BJ lost, but because GSP got hurt and couldn't fight Hughes, BJ was the default #1 contender (having just lost to the #1 contender).

That would be my guess.

I'd say Bisping too.
My opinion would be different if Bisping got destroyed by Sonnen, but the decision was razor close and many fight fans and practitioners think Bisping should have won that fight.

I would try my damnedest to sign Hector Lombard before going with any of those options.
