I think we need a tiebreaker in case 2 or 3 of us get eliminated at the same time. What do you think of this:

-When you make your pick, you must choose a tie breaker "what if". You must pick the round, time, and method of victory your pick will lose by.
-Accepted methods of victory are: KO, TKO, Split Decision, Majority Decision, Unanimous Decision, Submission
-If multiple contestants are eliminated, the one who picks the correct Method of Victory will be awarded the higher spot.
-If both (or neither) contestant pick the correct Method of Victory, the tiebreaker will fall to the Round of Victory
-If both (or neither) contestant pick the correct Round of Victory, the contestant that was closest to the Time of Victory will win the tiebreaker.

Don't forget to get your picks in before tomorrow.

Since Chrom went with Funch in the betting topic he's obviously going to lose so I'm picking Pyle.

Tie breaker: Funch, 2nd round submission, 3:25

Is that correct? It's gonna be hard to first pick a fighter to win, and then go on to try and figure out the fashion in which he loses.

It's an ass-backwards way of doing it but I couldn't think of another way to do it. I'm definitely open to suggestions if you have any ideas.

Yeah sorry, but I'm not comfortable with that.

I know it's short notice, but I'd like to suggest the opposite;

Pick the guy you want to win, and the tie-breakers can be what you suggested, only applied to the guy you picked instead of the other guy.

For example;
I'm taking Carvalho

And if someone else takes him and we are tied, I'll take him by UD.
And if you take him as well, but by sub in rd 2, and Mogal takes him by TKO, I win if he wins by UD, even though you both picked him.

It just makes more sense with me to put your chips on the bet you originally made, instead of betting on one thing, and then relying on a lost bet to actually win the bet.

However, I understand that it may be too late to change the procedure, so whichever way we decide to go, I am still going with Carvalho by UD.

Mogal, are you cool with Trig's method? Since I'm still in the pool I don't want to be the final say on the tie breaker. If you ljke his idea put in your pick and I will change mine as well.

OK well if Mogal doesn't get back to us in time, we'll just go with your original idea.

So my tiebreaker in that case would be Carvalho gets TKO'd at 2:25 into the 3rd round.

But if Mogal comes back in time and we decide to change it to my suggested method, I got Carvalho by UD.

Lol, let's just hope there are no ties. I'm trying to remember how we dealt with tie breakers on the old site but I think we never had it happen

No, that puts you in second. See, we have to go with the method I originally suggested. By picking your method/round/time on your fighter there is no contingency to that fighter losing - he lost so your method/round/time is completely off. By picking the way your chosen fighter will lose, you have something to fall back on if 2 people are eliminated at the same time, which is what happened here

Quote :
-If multiple contestants are eliminated, the one who picks the correct Method of Victory will be awarded the higher spot.
Neither of you picked the correct Method
Quote :
-If both (or neither) contestant pick the correct Method of Victory, the tiebreaker will fall to the Round of Victory
You picked Carvhalo to lose by TKO in the 3rd, Mogal picked Olivera to lose by TKO in the 2nd. You picked the right round so you win the tie-breaker.
