So what if Diaz beats Penn? Should he and Condit square off for the shot, or does Condit keep his spot. I would imagine that Condit is still guaranteed his title shot. Maybe just wishful thinking as a Diaz fan....

Then again, if Diaz wins, I would imagine he's next after Condit, anyway.

Speaking of main events, we ought to consider oursleves lucky that Penn/Diaz was already the co-main event, because we could have really gotten screwed had their been some weak sauce co-main event that would've now been bumped to main event status.

Nice! That really sucks about GSP though. Having Kos in the co-main event would be a decent replacement. The only problem is what if he beats Condit? There's no way he should be getting a title shot anytime soon, so that would only boot a contender off the island. Not really a good move, especially with the shortage of WW title contenders.

While Dana White "respects the shit outta Josh" for the offer, it looks like Condit will hit the showers and wait for the champ to recover.

It would have been dumb for Condit to take that fight anyway. It sounds like GSP's only gonna be out for a month or two, not like other "fight now or wait for the champ" situations in the past where the #1 contender would have to sit out for much longer while waiting for the champ to heal up.

I bet Condit/GSP happens before February.
