The reigning Shooto light heavyweight champion, Siyar Bahadurzada announced earlier via his Twitter account that he’s signed with the UFC. Bahadurzada had agreed to a Strikeforce contract in 2010, but was unable to get a fight, as Scott Coker claimed visa issues were the cause of the delay. Nonetheless, when Bahadurzada voiced his displeasure with the situation, and at Coker himself, Strikeforce seemingly lost all interest in him. Boasting a 20-4-1 record, and with recent victories over John Alessio and Derrick Noble, Bahadurzada will truly be entering deep waters when he heads to the UFC. | Might add some interesting new blood to the mix but I don't know he will have a real shot. there are a lot of tough guys ahead of him. | |
