| In short...decent episode. Not too impressed with the fight, I was happy to see Mayhem's guy win just because of how rude Bisping's entire team was to him at the weigh-ins. I wonder how that humble pie tasted when they're top notch striker got choked out?
As far as Mayhem's guy goes though, he has no cardio and pretty terrible takedowns IMO...he looked sloppy and only got some of those takedowns because Bisping's guy lost his cool and started swinging wildly.
At any rate, decent episode, good win for Mayhem.

| Me personally i'm not a big fan of the strikers that have shytt for ground game with average wrestling.. such as Chieck Kongo and the guy on Bispings team seemed to fit the bill... Glad Mayhem's guy won but he did definitely gas. | |

| Yea, he looked like he was going to pass out once that second round started. Glad he pulled off though, I can't stand bisping's attitude so I will never be rooting for his guys. I was impressed that his guy was able to cause damage by punching from his back. That's some serious power right there. | |

| The problem with the TUF format is that you associate the fighters with the coaches. Although they do form a training "team" calling them "Bisping's Boys" or "Mayhem's Boys" does them a disservice as up and coming young fighters.
What they should do is have them fight under one coach for half the season and the other coach the other half the season.
Allowing "chance" to dictate who's "Boy" you are going to be really doesnt help their development.

I completely agree... but that's half of the fun of watching the show I love rooting for guys and cheering when the guy I wanted to lose because he was on a certain team. Hell let face it, TUF is a good show, but I could really care less about the fighters when they get into the UFC since they really aren't the next break out star. If that were the case, Jon Jones should have been on the show.

Could You imagine how much the fighters would improve if they had Jens Pulver for a few weeks then BJ Penn for the remaining weeks in season 5?? The aspiring fighter would emerge very open minded and would evolve.

| Maybe the winner of each team should fight the opposing coach or even their own coach? Heh | |
