I don't love it. I'm afraid JDS is gonna win, then get hurt and not defend the belt for 14 months. Then Cain will come in and beat the absolute piss out of him again, and then get hurt himself and be on the shelf for another year.

Yep, and the 5-6 heavyweight rankings will look roughly the same in 1.5 years as they do now due mostly to inactivity and the same guys just fighting each other over and over.

Lets all just keep our fingers crossed for a Miocic win and maybe throw in Derek Lewis for a title shot if he gets by Browne.

Yep, but that's the problem when everyone has beat everyone and there is no MMAath to use to find the clear next contender. It almost seems like these days it's like, "hey, who in the top 5 is healthy enough to fight?".

I'd really like to see Lewis or Ngannou get fast tracked... just to get some new blood in the mix.
Fuck bring over Minakov or Fedor for a shot for all I care. I just hate seeing the same fighters linger in the top 5-6 forever.
