who really won lineker vs dodson

tough fight to call imo

Yeah, I would not have been disappointed in a split decision.
I thought Dodson looked quicker on his feet and was probably more efficient with his striking. Though Lineker seemed to land more meaningful shots.

I generally don't like fighters that cannot make weight. So a biased opinion would have given a fight that close to Dodson.

I'm interested to see what the UFC does with lineker. the guy is a stud but this is his 5th time missing weight ( i might be off on the number but i think it i correct).

he put on a hell of a show against an amazing fighter in Dodson.
he missed weight several times
guy is on a 6 fight win streak with 3 font bonuses

how much of an impact will his weight be in deciding his next fight.

i have no interest in watching him fight cruz because i think cruz would out smart him in a fight but id love to see him fight cody or tj next

You would have thought the jump in weight class would have helped with this problem.

I'm shocked that the ufc still has him on the roster.

on a side note he is one of my favorite fighters and I hope he stays on the roster lots of interesting fights.

Let Cruz smoke Garbrandt and show him where he stands, then give the winner of Lineker/TJ the next shot.

I almost wish cruz would retire.
guy is too smart as a fighter. he knows what to do to win and I don't think anyone will beat him in that division.
I also think cruz is better at commentating/analysis.

Dodson took it IMO pretty close yet still a clear victory if you ask me.... sure it was a bit of cat and mouse... but Jerry beat Tom with movement and better efficiency. Mind you, I didn't like the strategy... but I thought it worked.
