It's kind of sad that news of this nature doesn't even really surprise me at all anymore.

Nah .... its just like NASCAR or Formula One maintaining limits on vehicle modifications. There are always racers trying to push the limits, seeing what they can get away with, giving themselves the edge. The USADA just puts limits what kind of fuel and injectors the fighter like drivers can use. When drivers get sanctioned they lose stuff when fighters get sanctioned they lose stuff...
Won't kill the sport.... just brings into the light of day the cheaters.

I don't know man since they started this there have been several noticeable differences in fighters and there have been a lot of people getting suspensions for this.
it definitely hurts the sport because guys are performing different and when these other guys are getting suspended it kind of puts a hold on the division when the fighter is ranked.

If Mendes got busted 3 or 4 years ago then yeah; maybe it hurts the division a little. But how many fights has he lost in a row now? 3??

I think he is still top of the division but if suspensions keep happening the way that they are its going to make things weird to schedule fights. ** top ranked fighters**

The division doesn't need him anymore, is what I'm saying. I don't care if he's ranked 3. There were 3 fights of which he needed to win at least one of to have any clout at the top of the division, and he lost all 3.

doesn't matter that he lost those fights he is perfect for the division. he is exactly what the division needs. hes the type of guy you set up a fight and if you beat him you get a title shot. i would hate to call him a gate keeper but maybe thats the title he desrves. problem is most of these guys cant beat him because he is that good. unfortunately, he is in the same boat as his teammate but unlike benevidez there is still a better chance to get the gold in his divison.
