A pair of exciting matchups are headed to the UFC’s summer return to the Los Angeles area.

A women’s strawweight fight between onetime title challenger Jessica Penne (12-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) and Jessica Andrade (13-5 MMA, 4-3 UFC), who previously competed at bantamweight, is headed for June 4’s UFC 199, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.

Also set for the event is a middleweight matchup between Hector Lombard (34-5-1 MMA, 3-3 UFC) and former PRIDE champ Dan Henderson (31-14 MMA, 8-8 UFC), who was displaced from Saturday’s UFC on FOX 19 when ex-champ Lyoto Machida admitted to the use of a banned supplement.

Henderson confirmed the bout today to MMAjunkie. Sherdog.com was first to report the pending fight.

UFC 199, which is headlined by a middleweight title rematch between champ Luke Rockhold and ex-champ Chris Weidman, takes place at The Forum in L.A. suburb Inglewood with main card fights on pay-per-view and prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. The fight card’s bout order is not set.

Penne returns to the cage for the first time since a brutal loss to champ Joanna Jedrzejczyk, which took her back to the drawing board after a successful graduation from “The Ultimate Fighter 20” via decision over fellow contestant Randa Markos.

Andrade makes her first appearance at 115 pounds following a submission loss to Raquel Pennington at UFC 191, which dropped her record at 135 pounds to 4-3.

Henderson looks to get back in the win column after a second knockout loss to Vitor Belfort this past November, which dropped his record to 2-6 in the past eight outings. Lombard, meanwhile, dropped the first TKO loss of his career in a previous outing against Neil Magny at UFC Fight Night 85 in March.

Lombard vs hendo is going to be a barn burner..

Hendo's agent better get a stipulation put in that he gets paid if Lombard pops hot or Hendo risks getting fucked for a second time.

Yeah I don't get it. UFC 200 is supposed to be this huge event, but it's headlined by possibly the stupidest rematch in UFC history, co-headlined by an almost as stupid Interim Title, and followed by a women's title fight featuring nobody named Rousey or Holm, yet UFC 199 is fucking loaded.

I agree... makes absolutey no sense. why is there an interim belt for the 45 division when the 45 pound champ is headlining the same card? why is a non title fight in the welterweight division between a contender at lw and the 145 pound champ going on after the last outcome was pretty evident who the better striker wrestler and bjj artist was.

I don't know man I feel like ufc is dropping the ball. the best talent in the world and they make ufc 200 ( the biggest MMA event ever ) very questionable. they could have done so much more imo
