Dollaway vs. Marquardt, Samman vs. McCrory added to UFC on FOX 17 in Orlando

A pair of middleweight fights are now a part of the UFC on FOX 17 card on December 19.

C.B. Dollaway will meet Nate Marquardt, while Josh Samman meets the returning Tamdan McCrory. The Orlando Sentinel originally reported the fights on Friday.

Dollaway (15-7) vs. Marquardt (33-15-2) is a matchup of fighters trying to get back on the winning track. Dollaway has dropped two straight, to Lyoto Machida and Michael Bisping. Marquardt, meanwhile, a former Strikeforce and Pancrase champion, has lost five of his past six bouts and been knocked out in three of them, most recently a UFC 188 loss to Kelvin Gastelum.

Samman (12-3) is a Florida native who is riding a four-fight win streak. McCrory (13-3), a fighter with a cult following, retired in 2009, but returned in 2014 and won a pair of Bellator bouts before announcing his return to the UFC this week.

Not good.
Samman's a monster. I'm not a fan, but that guy's underrated big time, and i don't think McCrory is ready for him yet.

I'm with Trigg, bad fight for barn cat. cant stand Samman as a person but as a fighter dude has mad skills to put people away.

I know McCrory has a solid ground game and obviously some pretty good power in his punches, but I just don't see where he's better than Samman.

Oh well, maybe he's learned a few new tricks in the past 5 years and is gonna steamroll Samman like he did his last few opponents.
That would be utterly enjoyable!!
