| I'm super exxcited and itrgued fore this fight. I enjoy watching and think both Jones and Cormier are great fighters, they're both undefeated (I don't really count the Hamill fight). I think Jones could give Cormier trouble with his variety of kicks ,but at the same time Cormier could give him trouble with his wrestling and power in his hands, and I don't really think Jone's wrestling has looked as good in his recent fights. Jones might also be able to take advantage of the height descrepancy for front head kicks and front chokes. What're you all thinking about it? | |

| i hope cormier could cage control jones and dirty box him. im worried about dc getting choked out trying to position himself for a takedown. i also think conditioning will play a big part into thif fight as well.
to be honest i was excited about this fight until the ufc over did the promoting of it. all of these back stage fights, telephone arguments, oh i thought the cameras werent rolling incidents seem more staged than the wandi and chael episode. to me i feel the ufc has really gone the way of the wwe.

| Yeah, all the altercations are a bit suspect But I don't even care, I just wanna see these two lock up and see what happens! I really don't know how it's gonna go down. I'm hoping for a slam fest and a one sided ass whooping from DC. But that's really not likely. So I'll settle for one good slam and embrace the grind, so long as DC wins. | |

| Maybe we'll see one of those rare fights where both dudes are just exchanging slams and suplexes almost as much as strikes. | |

| So glad I didn't buy this one....what a boring bunch of fights, main event included. You know it's a boring night when the one notable and "exciting" part of the entire event is the final 7 seconds of a fight when a fighter is kicking a downed opponent to the back of his legs. | |

| Yeah the main event looked promising for the first couple of rounds, but once Cormier gassed out it degenerated pretty quickly. | |

| Honestly I didn't think Cormier looked any more gassed than Jones. It just apeared to me that Jones reach was too much for Cormier to overcome, and Cormier surprisingly couldn't out wrestle Jones. IMO Jones looked horribly slow and telegraphed, I felt like he was throwing punches in slow motion. Jones was oatmeal in this fight. Fought not to lose vs fighting to win. Very meh fight. | |

| Yeah it may have been more frustration than gassing out, but whatever it was, Cormier didnt look like the same fighter in rounds 4 and 5 as he did in the first two, and it allowed Jones to pull away and cruise, resulting in the fight getting stale at the end. | |

| There were a few times though that I thought if Jones isn't careful he's gonna get KO'd....DC has some pretty decent dirty boxing, much better than Jones | |

| Yeah early on I saw Jones taking some big shots, and I was thinking the same thing. If he was able to land a good flurry in there Jones would've had to consider changing his gameplan. | |

| agree with every one else. the fight card at best was meh. Makes me wish it was gus in there fighting for the belt. with the way jones looked that night we would have had a new champ. | |

| On a positive note, I really want to see Felder and Gambrandt fight again. Young hungry fighters that came ready to fight. I fucking love it.
Sprinkle in some Jordan with two big boys throwing bombs and seeing who connects cleanly first.
I fucking hated Jury in that fight. All the trash talking and how he was a "superior athlete" and was going to "be in his face the entire fight" and "relentlessly push the pace" just all bullshit. As soon as he saw he wasn't going to be able to do shit with a takedown, he just ran away from Cerrone for 2 straight rounds. Bullshit... fuck him. If you are going to go on and on about how you are going to wreck someone and push the pace, then you better not just run the whole damn time. I was looking forward for a war and FOTN with that fight.
What the hell was Rodrigo Damm doing? Maybe one of the top 5 BJJ guys in the UFC and never even attempted one takedown.

| the main card was terrible. the only excitement i got was the first 2 or 3 rounds of the main fight.
however the prelims were pretty fucking awesome. thought that all of the fights were great.
felder in early for knock out of the year imo. guy looks like he is going to do big things here.
people who let me down on the card was lombard, jury, tavares, and marquardt.
people who impressed me felder, burkman, and jones.

| Jury really piseed me off. All the sheet this kid was talking to cowboy and how he was going to steam roll him and what does he do? back pedal for 3 rounds. No wonder cowboy threw those crazy leg kicks at the end. he was pissed and i dont blame him. | |

| I am surprised I actually really liked the first 3 rounds of the main event and was on the edge of my seat. Last two rounds kind of blew after Cormier gassed, but i thought the first 3 were intense. | |

| I guess I never really noticed Cormier gassing...at least no more than Jones. I dunno. Maybe the choppy stream wasn't helping. | |

Yeah eye poke, kick to gut, kick to gut and over lol. It's funny my wife was apparently spot on. She notices shit that I dont, I guess from a womans perspective. We were watching the fight and when the 4th round started she immediately said "Its over Jones is going to win" I was like "wtf i have Cormier up 2 rounds to 1 and he is coming on strong." She said "he has refused to shake Jones's hand to start the first 3 rounds and this round he just did. He's done and he feels it." I ignored her and though chicks and rolled my eyes lol. Sure enough Cormier looked like a shell of himself from that point on. Who knows...

| wow thats a pretty good observation. dc seems to be a guy who could break and when he does its all over. we all know he has excellent credentials mma wise but im really interested to see how he rebounds from his first loss and a failed bid at the belt. if gus beats rumble i think a rumble vs dc fight would be the absolute perfect match up | |
