Not many fighters have had a tougher 14-month stretch than UFC bantamweight top contender Cat Zingano (pictured). After beating Miesha Tata to score a coaching spot opposite champion Ronda Rousey on “The Ultimate Fighter 18,” with a crack at Rousey’s crown to follow, Zingano was forced to undergo knee surgery and hasn’t been seen since.
Worst of all, Zingano’s husband committed suicide in January.
Now fully healed, at least physically, Zingano looks to reclaim the opportunity that was previously promised to her. Zingano makes her long-awaited return against Amanda Nunes at UFC 178.
Zingano owns an unblemished 8-0 professional record. The 32-year-old became the first mother to fight in the UFC when she beat Miesha Tate in April 2013.

If cat didnt have this long lay off i would give it to her hands down. But she has been out for a while so i will say nunes has a 50/50 chance on taking this.

She looked pretty good at Grapplers Quest, 14 second flying armbar.
