Chael Sonnen, Dan Henderson get licensed by NSAC for upcoming fights, 'T-levels' within acceptable limits

Dan Henderson and Chael Sonnen have been given licenses to fight by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

While usually not a headliner, the two former teammates have been poster-boys for the controversial use exemptions for Testostorone Replacement Therapy (TRT). And up until the recent ban, have been using the treatment in competition.

Those days are gone and their shiny new licenses mean that both athletes got their ‘T-levels’ within the acceptable range.

Sonnen faces Wanderlei Silva at UFC 175 in July and Dan Henderson goes up against Daniel Cormier this month at UFC 173.

So, they did it! Now let's see if they can look like anything resembling top 10 talent without their "help".

I like that we get to see 2 guys after no TRT, it will give us real insight as to whether or not it is actually a PED. But it's kind of a catch 22... if the come out and look just like dog shit in the next fight, we know that it was a performance enhancer... If they come out looking just like they did with the TRT then they never really needed it in the first place.

how the fuck did they get their testosterone level back to "normal" without injections?
if your body doesn't produce a hormone, it's not going to start producing it just because you say so.
the options are: that they never needed it and got extra levels of testosterone for the training. this theory doesnt make sense because i dont see a reason to get doctors prescription for that, and, plus, previous use of steroids is proven to lower testosterone.
the other is that they are cheating the system and using testosterone without prescriptions this time around and just as with the prescriptions, they are using excess of it only during training.

Well all it says is that they got their levels within the acceptable limits (i.e. "low enough"). Whether their current levels are "normal" is another question.

I'd be curious to see what their current levels actually are. If what they've been saying is true, and they've been on TRT treatment because they have abnormally low testosterone, then it now should be abnormally low once again because they aren't getting the treatment anymore, right?

So if their testosterone levels are at least relatively normal right now and not exceptionally low, it means they've been cheating and are completely full of shit.

they either have been cheating by saying they need the testosterone because are low (but it doesnt make much sense to me) or they are still using replacement but are not declaring it
