| I like it.....I give Diaz a fair chance....but would probably be more like bisping bouncing in and out frustrating Diaz back in to retirement... | |

| This would be just like Diaz/Condit; Diaz chasing him around the cage, while Bisping throws 2 powder-puff punches and retreats halfway across the cage. | |

I think Bisping/Diaz would be more exciting than that. Bisping does back pedal at times but he will always drive in and does several quick combos and does press the action most of the time. Bisping didnt really back pedal to much at all in his Sonnen, belcher or vitor fights i thought. but thats just my personal opinon.

| I actually agree with Gecko. Bisping may not have any punching power, but he has isn't a huge runner either imo.
I think the fight could be decent. I also see Diaz getting pissed because Bisping isnt fighting exactly as he wants him to lol

| It's not so much that Bisping is known as a backpedaler (side note- "backpedaler" sounds like an old timey drifter or something). Condit isn't known to do that either. It's just that the way Diaz fights, people are apprehensive to stand there and trade with him because he can overwhelm you, and Bisping isn't going to be one punch KOing anybody. Hence, a recipe for a 3-round dance battle. | |

Well I think this is a lot closer to what will happen. Originally, I thought it was implied that Bisping was a runner and didnt engage. I do see an attempt at a jab fest from Mikey in this one, but Nick standing in the center of the ring with his arms out getting pissed that Bisping wont brawl with him, haha

| No, I wasn't trying to say Bisping is a runner. He'll engage, but like I said, only for very short bursts at a time before retreating and making Diaz track him down. We all know Diaz won't hang back and wait, so it's going to look a lot like the Condit fight in that there will be a lot of Diaz chasing after Bisping. | |
