- "So ended the fight were very upset because we know his potential. Never underestimate opponents, regardless of who we have to stay focused. Anderson was a lot of pressure on him, always having to show that it is the best. After the fight he said he lost focus, who lost his emotional balance, "said Galvao in an interview with tatami.
The setback Anderson generated numerous criticisms, including that the former champion would have been disrespectful to the opponent's guard down to cause Weidman.
"There was a lack of humility. He lost his emotional balance. He is very confident and believe in what you do. Download the trigger guard and is his style. But this defeat Humanized Anderson. Everyone thought he was a God who could win and time as you wanted ... This proves that no one is invincible. If he nocauteasse doing that, everyone would be saying now that he is a genius, a phenomenon which was unbeatable. "
Despite having lost a unbeaten in the UFC for almost seven years, Andrew thinks the defeat will have a positive side to the "Spider".
"On the one hand this defeat was good for him. He always won the fights, even when they had everything to lose. So, I think it will take a lesson from it all. When the fight ended, he came to himself. He was relieved to have taken that pressure off his back. But the record took a fall and when he fell, he became very sad and apologized for the whole team. "
Anderson left open and its future, the statements after the match, gave signs that was tired of carrying the weight of being champion. And, according to Galvao, Brazilian wondered retiring even before the fight. source | |

| Can we just give Anderson Silva his own board so it's easier for me to avoid all the tweener drama? He got KO'd. He'll get a rematch if he wants it. Done. | |

| I have a better idea; Can we get a board that translates Portuguese into English in an even remotely understandable way, because I have no fucking idea what the hell I just got done reading. | |
