| Subject: Vitor Belfort Did NOT Fail His Drug Test Sun Feb 03, 2013 11:48 am | |

- On Friday night, the MMA rumor mill started buzzing because someone who competed at “UFC on FX 7″ in Brazil supposedly flunked their post-fight drug test. Of course, fingers quickly pointed to Vitor Belfort (Pictured) because the 35-year-old screened positive for elevated levels of testosterone in 2006.
There are also rumors Belfort is on testosterone replacement therapy. However, there is no proof of that. Furthermore, there’s no evidence that it’s “The Phenom” who failed his drug test after posting a TKO victory over Michael Bisping.
According to UFC president Dana White, Belfort is not the guilty party. Regardless of the inside info FrontRowBrian might think he has.
“It [expletive] was not Vitor Belfort,” White emphatically stated following Saturday’s post-fight press conference. “Yet, right now, I bet if you talk to 100 people, 100 people will tell you that Vitor Belfort failed his drug test in Brazil. That’s [BS].
“That’s crazy that some rumor from a [expletive] clown with a fake name on Twitter can do that. It’s crazy.”
In FrontRowBrian’s defense, he never said it was Belfort who screened positive. Although, White admitted someone’s urine sample did trigger some red flags.
“There was an irregular test. Something was wrong,” White revealed. “Whenever something wrong happens, or weird, (the samples) get retested and, usually, it’s not a good thing.
“We will release the thing when it comes out, and we will say what happened with who failed.”
