| Hmmm...I guess I didn't gather that from what the governor said...I just gathered that the zombies teeth were pulled out. | |

Yeah I agree with you here. The governor said something like "It's staged. We've removed the zombies' teeth so they can't bite". That seems to imply that the "staged" portion of the fights was limited to the perception of the danger of the combatants possibly being bitten, not the actual fight itself.

| And...big ol bad Merle could easily take out a big ol' beach muscular dude....but as soon as he comes across the skinny ninja-esque little 5ft2 dread locked black girl it's a whole other story and she gets the better of him. This is why I don't watch much TV...I can't get past stuff like this. | |

| I guess the whole scene where...once again...one handed Merle got the better of two armed adults...both with full functioning apendages...who have easily dispatched hundreds of walkers and didn't like Merle to begin with. So Glenn looks down for .05 seconds and all of a sudden Merle is on the other side of the truck with his hand/blade thingy against Maggy's throat. All the while, black pouty super-ninja dreadlock lady is watching from a distance without doing ANYTHING...moments earlier she slaughtered two of Merle's buddy's without question...then Merle tried to kill her...twice...yet she's become somehow cautious and passive.
Exactly the reasons I don't like TV and I wish TV shows were like movies and had some finality before they start getting really stupid.
Thank you for listening and good day.

Were we watching the same show? lol She attacked Merle from behind. He immediately disarmed her and knocked her down. She upkicked him as he was about to pounce on her, zombies attacked him and she ran away. She hardly got the better of him.

| It's a show about killing zombies. If you can't sit back, relax, enjoy some manly carnage, and suspend your disbelief then I think you are right...You should not watch...lol | |

| My wife says the same thing. There's something in me that won't let me do that. I rarely watch any TV or movies other than sitcoms because my brain won't let me NOT nitpick EVERYTHING. I've learned to keep my mouth shut when watching so I don't ruin it for her lol.
I guess it makes me a little angry because I WANT to enjoy some TV, and I usually do at the beginning...but by the 3rd season of just about anything I pretty much have nit picked it to the point of no longer enjoying it. I think I've said this many times before, but that's the joy of a movie, there's a beginning, a middle and an end...there's finality.

| I gotta take FistK's side on this one. If the confrontation between Merle and Michonne proved anything, it's that Merle actually is as bad ass as he seemd in the arena fight. Michonne killed the other two guys easily, and then when she attacked Merle and Neil (I'm not calling him by his last name, either LOL), Merle managed to save Neil's ass in a split second and get the upper hand on her before the zombies came and basicly saved her life. Furthermore, Merle again demonstrated his reflexes and skills in the confrontation with Glen and Maggie.
If you want to say it's not feasible that Merle is that bad-ass that's one thing. But at least it's consistent. lol
Also, he got the better of Glen and Maggie with the element of surprise, not sheer force. But I was really annoyed that Michonne didn't do or even say anything to help the situation. A simple "Hey! Watch out! That guy's a dick!" would have sufficed.

| Dude, don't feel bad. I do the same thing. I'm such a dick about this kind of stuff that I do it watching True Blood, which if you don't already know, is about vampires. Do you have any idea how much of a cynical bastard you have to be to point out inconsistencies and storyline mistakes in the behaviors of fucking mythical beings?!Yeah, I know what you're going through. Trust me. | |

| Thoughts on last night's episode? I enjoyed it...I find it interesting that they're kinda moving from battling the walkers to now battling other living humans. There are so many active story lines going on.
I still don't like pouty faced mad ninja girl. I want her to die.
I liked all the scenes with Glenn....him wasting that walker when Merle sicked it on him showed how Glenn has become badass....I wanted him to kill Merle. I actually thought for a second that he was gonna jump at Merle once the governor brought Maggie in and they were gonna off him...but I'm glad that didn't happen.

| I know she's not...I just don't like the casting choice they made for her. That constant disgusto look on her face reminds me of a spoiled kid that's pissed because she didn't get the pony she wanted for Christmas. | |

| I was also really surprised at how naive they made the doctor. I'm shocked throughout all this that he'd never seen a person transform.
That was actually a pretty creepy scene I thought.
