a Las Vegas venue they haven’t hit up to since November of 2006?
According to Las Vegas Review-Journal,
it’s because UFC president Dana White (Pictured) has severed all ties
with the once-popular casino after the facility cut White’s credit line
in half approximately six months ago.
The UFC had an exclusive contract with the Palms to hold “The
Ultimate Fighter Finale” events, as well as other smaller Octagon shows
inside The Pearl. Immediately after the beef erupted, White took his
talents to the Palms’ biggest off-strip rival.
The UFC has been to Vegas’ Hard Rock seven times in the past,
including three TUF Finales. The organization’s last card at Palms was
June’s TUF 15 Finale.
The LVRJ reports that White was one of Palms’ biggest gamblers since
the casino opened in 2001. His generous tipping habits earned him
legendary status.
During a two-month hot streak, White allegedly dished out $100,000 to dealers for sending him their good luck vibes.
“Anytime he came in, we knew it was a big payday,” a Palms employee proclaimed.

That's what I was thinking too. They either thought really hard about this for an extended period of time, or not for one second at all. All Dana has to do is tweet "I'm at The Palms in Vegas, free tickets for the biggest douche" and the place is full in 3 minutes. Dumb. | |

That's what I was thinking too. They either thought really hard about this for an extended period of time, or not for one second at all. Not to mention the flip side of that coin; Dana goes on twitter and says "Fuck The Palms!! Hard Rock is where it's at!" and suddenly The Palms has 15% less customers than it had yesterday. | |
