So basically no one wants to fight Rousey right now... which is odd after seeing all the shit talk Cyborg was spewing prior to the Rousey/Kaufmann fight...

She could make weight if she cuts out the crap she just doesnt want to cause thats her edge in fights massive brute strength and if she cuts that out she will have to fight rhonda on actual skill and cyborg would be screwed. like Chrom said in another post Rhonda would tap her out in the first round probably and cyborg knows it you. Fighters who actually want fights with certain fighters go out and make it happen. Ken and Bj both did TUF just so they could get the fight they wanted. Fighter have dropped weight classes all the time. Hell if kenny Florian can fight from 185-145, i am sure cyborg can adjust from 145 to 135.

If Rousey really wants to talk shit, she should at the very least be proposing a catchweight. I know Rousey will not catch much slack since she's hot and people like her, but that doesn't necessarily make it fair.

But the fact she is calling out a proven steroid cheat I think puts things in her favor. As well Cyborg has a history of failing to make weight, and winning while under suspicious circumstances. My beef with the bitch is that I believe she was roided up when she defeated Gina taking her belt from her.....

But why would rhonda go up and or do a catch weight with 2 things here.

1. why not go to 135 and take her title, that would shut rhonda up and help show the world that roids had little to do with her performance.

2. why would rhonda go up to a weight that cyborg doesnt even make half the time? I mean if she dosnt even make 145 i doubt 140 would be any differnt. If you make it at 135 and she still doesnt make it, it will be atleast close to the point of maybe a 5 pound difference and i dont think rhonda would walk away from that fight still.


The problem right now is all the cards are in rhondas hands. She has the title,she has a great record,she hasnt been busted for banned susbstances. Cyborg is the one who has to prove that she has skill and that her roids werent the decideing factor in half of her fights. going down to 135 and taking rhondas belt with a clean test could put an axe on a lot of those questions. but she is very reluctant in doing so cause she knows her roids had a major role in it more than likely.

All I am saying is that it is pretty lame to say, " I will kick your ass. Now lose some weight and let's fight."
I am also not saying Rousey should move up to 145, but she is the one calling out a heavier fighter who excels at a heavier weight class.

Let's just say it's fighter A calling out fighter B under these circumstances and not Rousey/Cyborg.

And yes, all the cards are in Rousey's hands, except for one..... competition. It has nothing to do with the belt or figting in weight classes if there is an opportunity for more money doing something else. Some people will continue to watch her fight since she's good looking, but others will stop caring when another can is tossed in the ring to get arm barred.

I think Cyborg actually started the shit talk... but don't quote me on that.

I don't like to say it, but Rousey is wrong here.
If you're gonna run your mouth, you need to be prepared to back it up. And calling out a heavier fighter, but then refusing to move up to their weight class in definitely not backing it up.


But on the other hand, I don't even think Rousey should be calling out Cyborg in the first place. In fact, I think the only reason she is doing it is pressure from the public (and maybe her employer?) because everyone wants to see that fight.
