| What did everyone think?
I for one was fairly bored and disgusted with the fight. I'm glad Faber's guy won for the main fact that his dad passed away and that lit a fire in him to win. But he won through boredom. It's funny to me how HORRIBLE a pure wrestler looks when he's forced to stand even for 5 seconds. He was drastically looking for a takedown knowing he looked like a 6 year old skinny girl in a cat fight when he was forced to stand.
Boring fights so far, lack luster season.

100% agree, the guy is douchebag. As for the season so far in a whole. it's okay. last season was much better and had more exciting fights i thought. but there have been a couple of good ko's this season.

Tickle has got to be driving Cruz batshit crazy. Just constantly "needing" to leave a workout to go sit on the shitter and catch a breather. I hope he loses his fight by just getting simply out worked and gassing at the end.

The only reason he took Tickle was to fuck over faber and now it backfiring on him...lol

| It appears to me that Cruz is the much better coach...but again this could be selective editing, which I THOUGHT we weren't going to have to deal with since this season is so called "live"... | |

| Cruz is one of the coaches that people either respond to or they dont I think. I am NOT saying in the least that you should ever have to coddle to people, but he doesn't seem to have the ability to treat different people differently. He knows one way and one way only and that's intense. It's good most of the time, but other times it doesn't work.
On a side note I get the impression that Cruz was picked on as a kid. He cares SO much about what faber is doing all of the time instead of what his guys are doing. I remember when they first fought Cruz had such a hatred for Faber and Faber didnt even know who he was. Cruz actually despised faber, because faber was indifferent to him, haha. When faber's team is yelling and hollering in their locker room Cruz is telling his guys to ignore them, thats what they do, blah blah blah. "Guys they are over there having fun, just let them. We dont need to be immature..." haha

| I guess I haven't picked up on that about Cruz...I'll have to pay more attention on the next episode. I think what you said about him being intense all the time is what I really like about Cruz.
I think it also turned me away from Faber on the 2nd episode when he tried to call Cruz out about him mentioning his parents in an article...I thought that was complete immaturity on Faber's part and seemed to be an attention whore camera hungry thing to do.

| Yeah I agree; that BS that Faber tried to pull seemed ridiculously forced. It's like he was trying to stir the spot by taking something insignificant and blowing it way out of proportion, and Cruz was just like "Na, I'm not taking the bait, man. Sorry."
The thing I like about Cruz's training style is that, yes, he's intense, but he's quietly intense. There have been some coaches in the past (Tito, Hughes, etc.) who always seem to be right next to the microphone and yelling about how hard we're gonna train and how we're gonna outwork the other team and repeating a bunch of training cliches 20 times an episode. Cruz on the other hand just seems like he expects you to train your ass off, and as long as you are doing so, he's content to let you without bouncing off the freakin walls and yelling and posturing for the cameras.
