So I was just outside on my front porch, smoking my last cigarette of the night, and I hear this loud popping and cracking sound behind me. I turn around and look, and the yard that's over the back fence about 50 yards away is on fire. I'm talking trees blazing, ground crawling with flames, and smoke pouring into the air. The flames are reaching up into branches 30 feet high. I look for a second in disbelief, and then decide to walk over to the fence. I look over, and there's like an inferno going on at this entire yard and house. So without thinking, I call 911, and I'm pretty sure I said to the operator "Hey, shit is on fire!!!" So she says "At your house?" and I say "No, over the fence, at the other house!" I hear the alarm go off at the firehouse, and they're there in 2 minutes! I walk down the street to the house that's on fire to see if anybody needs help, and these boss-ass firemen are already dowsing this fire! Good deal! Glad to know the emergency response in this town is on point. Luckily the operator speaks Triggerman, or else I would've had to handle that shit myself! LOL!
