| Why not the bottom of the ladder fight and see where he goes. Has he offended Dana in some way that I don't know about, one real bad fight and one caught ya using PEDs usually doesn't end your chances with the ufc does it?
30 and 7 at 36. And people will tune in to see the fight. Why not?

| I agree, I just don't get why so many people are against him getting another crack in the big show. I can almost guarantee he would take out Struve... He's fighting on a card in Maine shortly here, if he comes in good shape there and looks good in the cage I think it would be a mistake for the UFC not to sign him... | |

| One real bad fight? Ok I'll give you that. One real bad fight and the rest were just pretty bad. Sylvia was one of the most boring fighters ever. I never heard a champ get booed like that, and I never heard an arena come unglued the way it did when Couture knocked Sylvia down in the opening seconds of their fight. Maybe when Lesnar lost to Cain.... MAYBE. He has 3 meh rounds against Big Nog, lands a couple decent shots, then loses via guillotine in about 2 seconds. He has better cardio and longer reach than TANK ABBOT, those are his attributes. He has no ground game, no balance, still hasn't developed a defense against an overhand right, he cuts his tits down to make the 265 limit (in fact he fought at over 300 not too long ago), his takedown defense is mediocre for someone as tall as he is, he has no defense against leg kicks whatsoever, his head movement and footwork are worse than Kimbo's, his chin is decent. I honestly have no clue at all what you guys remember about him that was so great. People booed him for different reasons than Lesnar. They booed Sylvia because he sucked, not because he just played heel. The UFC is light years beyond Sylvia's level of ability these days, and I have no clue who all of these people are that want to see him fight. I mean at least when Royce came back he had been gone long enough to achieve UFC Legend status. Sylvia still sucks in the eyes of just about everyone. His 2 most popular moments in the UFC were getting laid out against Couture and shitting his pants against Assuerio Silva. That's not really something I'm going to pay to see, I don't know about you guys. | |

| Hes not going to headline.... hes not going to be why people will choose a card to watch... he will be a looooong shot Cinderella Man.... give us some hope... give us a dream ... hell thats why I buy lotto tickets....
How many BIG fights have turned out to be snoozers, dancing around not hitting laying on each other? Good God man some cards they can't buy enough fighters to fill the spot.
There are lots of cards that would not be hurt by putting Timmy on it.... and give the fans something fun to see and ... if nothing else a news reel knockout.
Oh yeah good move bringing Royce back .... I cried watching one of my hero's not even get a punch off and get killed by that Pussy Cat Killing Matt Hughes.

TOTALLY agree. In all honesty I think he represents everything that Dana doesnt want mma known for. You can already tell that Big Country is on thin ice with Dana, but he is personable and a decent fighter so he is still here. The last thing that Dana wants is Tim's fat ass showing up for a fight, looking like a tough man competitor and getting his ass laid out in 30 seconds again like he did against Ray Mercer, when Dana is trying to sell how athletic mma fighters are today. I think the bottom line is that the risk is WAY to high for the ufc and the gain would be minimal at best.

| That's it! I'm pasting some picket signs together tonight. We'll bring a keg and have a handful of signs to show how much we don't want Timmeh back.
"Timmeh, the Security Dept. is Hiring."
"Timmeh, Ray Mercer says "Hi"
"Say no to "Hostess" sponsorships"
"We have enough Sylvias already"
"The others aren't white"

| Like I said, if he comes in good shape and looks good in his next fight in Maine. Give him a one fight deal... say with a KO or Sub stipulation, you finish the fight you just might be back kinda deal. I see no way the UFC could lose out on that kind of deal. Put him on an undercard against some one like Struve, Dave Heman or Einemo... there are a few of lower level guys that I think Tim could handle and likely finish... and I am by no means a big fan of his or anything. But he is a former champ and I just feel he should at least be given another shot. But again, this is all very dependent on what he looks like in his next fight... | |
