| Sonnen did good ,but Rogan seemed biased.
Davis Evans went how I thought it would Evans striking was just on a whole other level compared to Davis.

| how about cub swanson? guy looked like a better version of his old self...
he beat a tough game fighter and he did it in a big way.
swanson is the type of guy that id like to see get back on a win streak and try another shot at the title.
maybe swanson vs do bronx????

| Okay first off -Lavar Johnson welcome to the UFC... I would like to match him up with either Pat Barry or Shane Carwin next to see if he belongs...
-Michael Johson saved the Blackzillians losing streak.. -An emotional victory for Cub Swanson. Congrats on his first win in the UFC. -okay so Wikipedia is calling the awkward move the "Calf Slicer." Charles Oliviera used it to get his submission victory. -I'm expecting Einemo to get cut and congrats to Mike Russow in losing more weight and the victory -Evan Dunham is a tuff-sunuva-bytch!!! He was evenly matched with Nick Lentz and was extremely back and forth. Congrats to even for his technical doctor stoppage victory
-Demian Maia... shame on you for gassing! You have no excuse! Your opponent had a super Credible excuse and he still outworked you! Weidman took the fight in 11 days so his performance was excusable but Maia... damn...
Michael Bisping... this is honestly the biggest I have seen him at 185lbs. He always looked a little small in other fights, but his powerlifting is making him pack on more size. He looked bigger and much improved! Bisping surprised me! It is not over for the Brit, he will get much better and he gave Sonnen a run for his money.
Congrats to Michael Bisping for looking very different! Much improved.
Phil Davis got some awesome on the job training tonite! Congrats to Rashad ! Finally he gets to match for the title. Rashad needs to look better than he did tonite otherwise it's Johnny Bones all day...

| I thought Sonnen won 30-27. That being said If he fought that way against Munoz I think he'd get knocked out. | |

| How in the world are you guys thinking Mikey won? He took the second round IMO and thats it. The first was close in the stand up, but Chael also put Mikey on his back a few times... to me that = Sonnen wins round 1... Anyone who can offer me sound reasoning I'm open to hearing it... | |

| i have to agree with chrom....1st was close but sonnen got 2-3 takedowns and controlled where the fight was....yes mike was able to turn off the cage but if he had his choice it wouldnt have been pressed up against the cage
round 2 went to bisping
round 3 no questions who won that one.
all the credit in the world to bisping for fighting a hell of a fight and doing way way better than most gave him credit for but sonnen did take rounds 1 and 3!

| I really thought that the Sonnen vs Bisping fight could have gone either way if you were scoring round by round. However, I gave the fight to Sonnen overall because he did have one dominate round, this fight is another example of why MMA needs to be a bit more liberal with their scoring if the first two rounds (which were super close) were 10-9 then shoudn't Sonnen get a bit more for having a dominate round? | |

| I think looking at it overall on a grand picture, Sonnen got more takedowns yes, but damn he looked horrible, he was swinging wildly, he was getting controlled agains the cage and only once did he do anything with a takedown.
Bisping controlled the standing game and was much much more precise and clean with his strikes.

| If I were scoring the fight as a whole, I would have given it to Sonnen since he had the most dominant position of the fight and was in the best position to finish. However, scoring with a stupid 10 point must system by round, I scored the first two rounds for Bisping and the the third (obviously) for Sonnen. The first round was really a coin flip, imo, so can't really blame the judging. Everyone knows these commission guys are smoking crack half the time anyway. Pretty horrible fight any way you look at it. I was really hoping for a Bisping/Silva fight. Will probably never happen now.
Maia/Weidman fight was horrible. The last round was like watching two 90 year old drunk guys throw arm punches at eachother. Maia hasn't submitted anyone in 3 years? That's crazy. Glad they gave the decision to Weidman, as he seems to have the brightest future going forward. It's got to be tough to start your cut given 10 days notice. I'm assuming he'll be handfull for whoever he gets next.
Was disappointed Rashad couldn't get the finish, but he was just too fast for Davis. Rashad reminds me of a bigger version of Frankie Edgar. At least both these guys had the cardio to go 6 rounds. They get the fight game.
Loved the projectile mouth piece from Roop's mouth. I need a gif of that.
The calf slicer was awesome. I used to catch guys in that when training BJJ. You could get it every once in a while when guys would lazily try to roll out of a knee bar. I never thought I would see a UFC fight end with it though.
Lavar has got to have some heavy hands to put away Beltran like that. He took some absolute hammer blows from Duffee and Mitrione and still made it to the score cards. Can't wait to see who he gets next.
Russow is quietly 4-0 in the UFC now. Still not sold on the guy, but can't argue with a 4-0 UFC record despite how unimpressive.

| By the way, for future reference.
They only advertise the prelims to be on Fuel TV, but Time Warner makes you pay for that channel. However, the last two Fox events had the premlims on Fox Deportes. If you don't mind listening to the broadcast in Spanish, you can watch them for free on Time Warner.

| Bisping won that fight, even Dana, rogan, goldberg all thought so, hell chael even said in his post fight if Bisping won the Decison he wouldnt have argued that all. It's all bullshit cause of the hype for the silva vs sonnen 2 match. The only way Bisping was going to win that fight was if he finished Sonnen and whoever really thinks Bisping lost 30-27 i will start by saying hahahahahah oooookay and get off the crack. These take downs are bullshit too. chael didnt do anything on any of his take downs until the one he got in the 3rd and bisping was throwing shots from his back most of the time too and finished the fight taking chael down and throwing 2 elbows on his head and chael admitted t0 Bisping rocked him a cou[ple times too.Just like how chel keeps going around saying he is the true champ.Bisping buddy , you are the true number 1 contender and we all know it. | |
