I honestly think Dana has a secret hard-on for Mirko... just like Dan Hardy... Both of these guys should have been cut, but Dana seems to give them chances. Maybe it's the "I'm gonna go out on my Shield" type of attitude both of these fighters possess???

| Keith Jardine lost 4 fights in a row before he got cut... because he either got KO'd or TKO'd someone. Also there was almost always blood in a Jardine fight lol. | |

| Big Country could really hurt Mirko. Why is he still fighting is a huge question. I really dont know that the Croatian MP has anything left to fight in the UFC. Nelson know he has to beat CroCop and beat him good. | |

| I just love looking at the card. This is as sick a lineup as we have seen in a long time! This could be really good! | |

I hope Mitrione wins via Heath Herring Chieck Kongo [taking the fight to the ground and raping Chieck's soul like Herring did]. Mitrione FTW.

| its weird but after ll this time my heart still skips a beat every time i see a former big time pride fighter on the card, more so if they are named fedor, hendo, mirco, shogun, nogs and wandy. i know most of them are over the hill, but every time, i still hope they resurrect them-self miraculously. | |

Man this whole "fan" gig is really difficult ! it is weird cause i am in the same boat. i dont get me some times. but good call on the analogy. Am i the only one that feels Dennis Siver vs. Donald Cerrone should be on the main card and roops fight should be on spike?

| I agree, Siver is a beast and I think he's earned main card status.
I like both Diaz and Penn...I don't know who to root for.

| Beating BJ Penn puts Nick Diaz back into a title shot.
All he has to do is defeat former division champion B.J. Penn at UFC 137 on Oct. 29 in Las Vegas. But what about his history of no-showing press conferences and other media obligations?

I Couldn't agree more, Siver .vs. Cerrone is potentially going to be FOTN imo. I am leaning towards to following fighters for W's: GSP BJ MITRIONE CERRONE BIG COUNTRY and the rest are up in the air.

| That is certainly one of the most solid top 4 fights of a PPV I have seen in a long time. The 5th one, not so much.....but Siver/Cerrone and Bart/Tyson Griffin should be good as well. Oh, and The Return of The Big Frog!!! | |

| The one notion that I got last night while lying sleepless in bed was the fact that Condit nearly lost to Rory Macdonald; the 22 year old Canadian phenom. Grandted he did lose the fight in the end, but was a mere 7 seconds and poor stoppage imo away from a split decision win over Condit; everything that Rory is good at GSP is great at; thus I don;'t see condit winning this fight outside of a punchers chance. Just imagine if they were to fight now, now that the kid has had 2 more fights in the UFC against tough competition; the WW division better keep there heads up for that kid (next facing Brian Ebersole at UFC 140). just saying
I do like Condit and his style and heart but not in this fight against the #1 p4p fighter imo.

Brian Ebersole is on a good roll right now too, Thats going to be a tough fight for that kid. Winner of that fight is some one to start keeping an eye on.

| ^ Definitely, the one key factor I see between Rory MacDonald and Brian Ebersole is the number of fights each has; Ebersole has a huge advantage with regards to experience having over 60 fights in his career. However I don't think his recent wins in the UFC are as impressive as MacDonald's over Nate Diaz and Mike Pyle. MacDonald only has 13 fights in his career which is a quarter of what Ebersole has, that will be a big factor in this fight imo. | |

| Yeah I think mcDonald is a very physically gifted kid in terms of his strength, and his wrestling definitely benefits from that. I think what happened against Condit was that he relied too heavily on that, and in the end he just got bested by a guy with more experience and more tools in his arsenal. Don't get me wrong, McDonald was easily on his way to a lopsided decision victory, but he got "veteran'd" by Condit. I think Condit learned a bit from that fight; Dong Hyun Kim is a guy known to bring you down and keep you down, but Condit put him away early without letting him get anything going. But we all know GSP, and GSP's gonna do what GSP does, and that's fight you where you don't want to be fought. GSP probably takes this 4 rounds to 1. | |

| This fight is definitely going to be GSP controlling Condit on the ground imo, MacDonald did a good job controlling Carlos on the ground and I'm sure he has learned from it but GSP is better than MacDonald and will execute the same GNP;I see GSP winning by Submission early in the fight this time around | |

Otherwise this is an incredible card
